🐾 Important Reminder About Our Deposit Policy 🐾

We want to take a moment to explain our deposit policy for new clients, returning clients, and surgical appointments. We understand that policies like this can sometimes be confusing, so we want to make sure everything is clear from the start. ❤️

💳 NEW CLIENT APPOINTMENTS

For all new clients, a $50 deposit is required when scheduling your first appointment.
This deposit is not an additional charge or separate fee. The $50 is placed directly on your account as a credit and will be applied toward your appointment total at the time of your visit.

📅 CLIENTS WE HAVEN’T SEEN IN OVER A YEAR

If it has been more than one year since your last visit with us, we consider you a new client for scheduling purposes, and a $50 deposit will be required to schedule your appointment.
Just like with new clients, this deposit is credited to your account and applied toward your appointment total. It is not an extra fee.

🏥 SURGICAL APPOINTMENTS

A $50 deposit is also required when scheduling a surgery. This allows us to reserve your pet’s surgical time and prepare our team, staff, and facility specifically for your pet.
The surgical deposit is also credited to your account and applied toward the total cost of the surgery.

📌 Why do we require a deposit?

Appointments and surgical procedures require dedicated time, staff, and preparation. A deposit helps us reserve that time for you and your pet and allows our team to plan appropriately.
We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation with this policy. Our goal is to provide the best possible care for every patient while keeping our scheduling process fair and consistent for everyone. 🐶🐱🐾

📢 HOLIDAY & CONTINUING EDUCATION CLOSURES 🐾

Just a friendly reminder to our wonderful clients that our veterinary clinic will be closed on two upcoming dates:

🇺🇸 Monday, September 7 — Labor Day
Our team will be taking the day to enjoy the holiday and spend time with family and friends.

📚 Friday, September 18 — Continuing Education Conference
Our veterinarians will be attending a veterinary conference to further their education and stay up to date on the latest knowledge, treatments, and advancements in veterinary medicine. We’re always learning so we can provide the best possible care for your pets! 🐶🐱❤️
Please plan ahead for any medication refills, food, or other needs before these closure dates.
Thank you for your understanding and for trusting us with your furry family members! 🐾💙
We will resume our normal business hours after each closure.

Patient Spotlight of the week!
Meet LUNA… this adorable German Shepherd puppy with ears that are WAY too big for her little head! 🐾😂💕
She may still be growing into those giant ears, but she’s already stealing hearts around here! We have a feeling she’s going to grow into them… eventually. 😉🐶

🐾 CASE SPOTLIGHT: A True Fight for Survival ❤️

When she arrived at our clinic after being hit by a car, her future was uncertain. She was facing an incredibly difficult choice: intensive surgery with a specialist, or saying goodbye.

But our amazing veterinary team wasn’t ready to give up on her. ❤️

She had suffered devastating injuries, including severe tissue damage to her abdomen. As her injury progressed, necrosis (tissue death) developed, leaving her with a massive open abdominal wound extending from her pelvis all the way to her diaphragm.

Her road to recovery was going to be long, difficult, and anything but easy.

Our doctors and staff took on the challenge — and she fought right alongside them.

Her recovery required intensive, hands-on care, including daily bandage changes and close monitoring as her wound healed. Our dedicated doctors even stayed late to make sure she received the care she needed, day after day.

And now… look at her! 🥹🐶

Against all odds, she has made an incredible recovery and is just waiting for her final suture removal! 🎉

Cases like hers remind us why we do what we do. It takes a determined patient, a devoted family, and a veterinary team willing to go the extra mile. We are so incredibly proud of this little fighter and grateful that we got to be part of her journey. ❤️

She came to us fighting for her life. Now, she’s just one suture removal away from the finish line. 🐾
