🚨 URGENT OVER CAPACITY. 🚨

Our Animal Services Division continues to see a steady stream of stray animals entering our care, and we are already operating at critical capacity.

Every day, more dogs and cats arrive. Every day, our team works to identify owners, reunite lost pets with their families, and find safe places for the animals in our care.

But we cannot keep up with the number of animals coming through our doors without our community's help.

The animals pictured are currently on STRAY HOLD and are NOT available for adoption at this time. Our first priority is getting them back to the families who may be desperately searching for them.
PLEASE HELP US GET THESE ANIMALS HOME.

If you recognize an animal, know someone who is missing a pet, or have recently lost your own, please reach out to Animal Services. Don't assume someone else has already contacted us.

Even if you don't recognize any of these faces, sharing this post could help it reach the person who does.

🚨 51 ANIMALS IN JUST 3 DAYS. WE URGENTLY NEED YOUR HELP. 🚨

In the last three days alone, 51 animals have entered our care.

That's 51 animals needing a safe place to stay, food, medical attention, and care. And with animals continuing to arrive, our shelter is under tremendous pressure.

WE NEED TO GET THESE ANIMALS HOME.

The animals pictured are currently in our care as strays and are NOT available for adoption at this time. They may have families desperately searching for them, and our first priority is getting them reunited with the people who love them.

Here's how you can help:

🐾 LOOK: Take a moment to look through the photos. Do you recognize any of these animals?

🐾 SHARE: Even if you don't recognize an animal, someone you know might. Sharing this post could help reunite a family.

🐾 SEARCH: If you're missing a pet, please don't rely on social media alone. Visit Animal Services in person, check our Lost & Found listings at pawshumane.org, and monitor local lost pet groups.

🐾 RECLAIM: If your pet is in our care, please contact Animal Services as soon as possible to begin the reclaim process.

Every successful reunion means an animal gets to go home and much-needed space becomes available for the next one who arrives.

51 animals in 3 days is not sustainable. We need our community to help us get these pets back where they belong.

Please look. Please share. Please help us bring them home.

LAST WEEK BY THE NUMBERS

Another busy week at Paws Humane Society and our Animal Services Division!

Last week alone, 92 stray animals entered our care. That's nearly 100 animals in just seven days who needed somewhere safe to go.

But thanks to our staff, fosters, rescue partners, adopters, and community, we also saw some incredible outcomes!

92 Stray Intakes – 43 dogs & 48 cats
34 Adoptions – 15 dogs & 19 cats
86 Foster Placements
14 Rescue Transfers
4 Pets Reunited with Their Owners
183 Spay/Neuter Surgeries

These numbers represent so much more than statistics. They represent animals receiving care, families being reunited, pets finding homes, and a community working together to make it all possible.

But 92 stray intakes in just one week is a reminder that the need for help isn't slowing down.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone who continues to adopt, foster, volunteer, donate, and support our mission.
