Welcome to the Columbus Small Animal Hospital Team Dr. Kaylee Potthoff!

Dr. Kaylee Potthoff started as an associate veterinarian at Columbus Small Animal Hospital in February 2025. She grew up in McCook, Nebraska and attended UNL for her undergraduate studies. She graduated from the Nebraska – Iowa State Professional Program in Veterinary Medicine in 2023. After graduation she practiced as a mixed animal veterinarian in Bowie, Texas, although her time was well spent in Texas, she is excited to be back in The Good Life state and be closer to family. Dr. Kaylee enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine with special interest in dermatology, rehabilitation, and behavior modification.
Dr. Kaylee lives in Columbus with her two dogs; Olive is a mixed breed rescue pup and Oakley is a miniature Australian Shepherd. In her free time Dr. Kaylee enjoys spending time with family and friends and helping on her family’s cattle ranch.
