Fresh out on a Monday morning for this 5 year old stud. Mid breeding season and I’m sitting on a mare in heat taking this video. I get asked all the time if he’s “good minded” and “quiet for a stud.” Truth is, he’s quiet for a horse in general. Honestly, because we don’t treat him any different. It always been expected of him. And that twelve year old riding him- she’s pretty handy too. Thankful for all her help keeping him legged up legged up while I ride the green ones!

Cowboy day with the AAA crew! What a huge success! Thankful for a great group of ladies and another fun year showing our community what being a cowgirl is all about!

is really coming around to this barrel horse gig. I think this was about 40 days in on the pattern, after 30 days of preparation for the pattern. He came in with a great start and all the natural ability, so he has made it so fun to get him going. HUGE thank you to his owner for setting him up for success and allowing me to take the time to do everything slow before we add speed. He is one heck of a baby and I can’t wait to see what he clocks when he gets seasoned. Alyssa Guffey

I figured- why not try the fresh, just came off a holiday, 2 year old bridleless during the cold snap? And I can definitely say I wasn’t disappointed! Reedy is the best baby!

Due to the recent EHV outbreak, AAA will be closing the doors for “haul in” lessons, races, shows, and training horse transportation for at least 2 weeks. This is for the safety of our equine partners and we hope everyone will understand. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We will circle back with an update as we are guided by our vets.

If you have been in contact with horses off site, please take precautions if you come to the property. Follow guidelines to stop the spread.

Praying hard for those who have already been affected.

IN TEXAS

We have confirmed exposure risk for horses that attended the WPRA Finals on November 4-9 or the 377 Arena on November 15 and 16. If your horse was at either location, quarantine immediately for the next 14 days and do not leave the premises during this time.

If you have an appointment with us, please do not unload your horses. You may come inside to check in, but keep your horses in the trailer until a staff member comes out to assist you. This helps protect every horse on the property.

Do not panic. Just be proactive. Good biosecurity, quarantine, and early symptom monitoring go a long way toward keeping your horse and the community safe.
