🌞🐾 HEAT ADVISORY: Keep Your Pets Safe! 🐾🌞

⚠️ Heat Advisory in Effect
🕙 Monday: 10:00 AM CDT – Tuesday: 8:00 PM CDT

Dangerous heat and humidity are expected across Middle Tennessee, with heat index values well over 100°F. These conditions can quickly become dangerous for both people and pets.

Please help keep your furry family members safe:
💧 Always provide fresh, cool water.
🌳 Make sure pets have access to shade.
🏡 Keep pets indoors during the hottest part of the day whenever possible.
🚶 Walk dogs early in the morning or later in the evening when temperatures are cooler.
🐾 Hot pavement can burn paw pads. If it's too hot for your hand, it's too hot for their paws!

🚗 Never leave your pet in a parked vehicle—even for a few minutes.

We will be OPEN during our normal business hours on Friday and look forward to caring for your pets!

If your pet needs medication or supplies for the holiday weekend, we encourage you to call ahead and pick them up before we close.

The summer heat isn't letting up, and neither should our efforts to keep our furry friends safe!

Please remember to: 💧 Keep plenty of fresh, cool water available. 🏡 Bring pets indoors or provide plenty of shade. 🚶 Walk dogs during the early morning or late evening when temperatures are cooler. 🐾 Check pavement before walks—it can burn sensitive paw pads. 🚗 Never leave pets in a parked vehicle, even for a few minutes. 🐴 Don't forget your horses and other outdoor animals—they need shade and fresh water, too!

A little extra care can go a long way in preventing heat exhaustion and heat stroke. If your pet shows signs of overheating, contact your veterinarian right away.

🌞 Heat Alert for Our Furry Friends! 🐾

Dangerously hot conditions are expected across much of Middle Tennessee this week, with heat index values reaching up to 110°F from Monday morning through Thursday evening.

Please help keep your pets safe during this extreme heat: 🐶 Limit outdoor time, especially during the hottest parts of the day. 💧 Make sure fresh, cool water is always available. ❄️ Keep pets in air-conditioned or well-ventilated areas whenever possible. 🚗 Never leave your pet in a parked vehicle, even for a few minutes. 🐾 Walk dogs early in the morning or later in the evening, and check pavement temperatures before heading outside to protect sensitive paw pads.
🐴 Horses and other outdoor animals should also have access to plenty of fresh water, shade, and frequent breaks from the heat.

Heat-related illnesses can develop quickly. If your pet is excessively panting, drooling, weak, vomiting, or collapses, seek veterinary care immediately.
