Today as we remember the brave soldiers that died protecting our country and freedom, We want to take a minute to bring attention to the Military Working Dogs (MWDs). These are specialized, highly trained canines that serve alongside armed forces for roles including explosive/narcotic detection, patrol, and specialized searches. Primarily utilizing breeds like the Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd, these dogs are critical assets that enhance safety, with roughly 2,500 active-duty dogs serving in the U.S. military, including hundreds overseas.
Thank you everyone who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
