You may have seen the post on Nextdoor about a mom and her 9 puppies being found left in a laundry basket near the Bear Creek trail. 💔

They were kept safe overnight by a wonderful member of our community, but the little family has now ended up at the shelter where the puppies are highly susceptible to illnesses due to their age. 😔

We know it's a BIG ask, but if there is anyone that can help foster them until they're big enough, you would be a hero! 🦸‍♀️

We would provide all the supplies if you have room in your home and heart! 💚

*Please note: They have to stay together for now due to their age and no they are not available for adoption yet. It will likely be 2-4 weeks.*

Rising food prices don't just affect people but their pets too. We try and help those experiencing hardship with our pet food pantry, but we stock it entirely on donations and we are nearly out. If you can help, please donate a bag of dog or cat kibble. Brand doesn't matter! 💚

Happy ! In the spotlight today is one of our smallest residents - Disco! 🪩

This guy was found a couple of weeks ago in the dumpster of a local dorm in his cage. He quickly went to foster where we started to learn all about his personality. 🐹

While we try our best to make the shelter as comfortable as possible for our pets while they wait to find new homes, sometimes the animals still get stressed out. This gets worse the longer they stay at the shelter. 😔

We have 2 dogs right now that are struggling with shelter life and their quality of life is declining. We would really love to see them get into homes, whether those be foster or adoptive homes! 🏠

🐾 Chipotle has been with us since February. In his previous home he reportedly did well with kids and other pets. He is wonderful with volunteers away from the shelter, but being in his kennel is not a good place for him.

🐾 Syndell has been with us since April. In her previous home she lived with another dog and did great with kids. At the shelter she is struggling being around the more reactive dogs making her very stressed out.
