Precious was one of a kind, and we are all still mourning the loss of this incredible pup. She lived a wonderful last few years with her amazing family, and we could not be more thankful that they loved her with their whole beings. Rest in peace precious girl. You will forever live on in our hearts, and the changes you have made in this world are unmatched💚🐾

It's , and today we are highlighting Prim and Proper!💚🐾

🖤Prim is a little timid and jumpy, but extremely sweet and so lovable. She'd love to find an owner who can spend time making her feel safe and comfortable in a forever home.

🧡Proper is a sweet, energetic, and goofy orange boy! Immediately after arriving in his foster home, he was out of his carrier and ready for some attention. He is very quick and easy to adapt to new environments and is ready to thrive in a permanent home!

Although they came into CMHS together, Prim has decided she really likes her alone time. These kitties could do well together in a home, but due to their differing needs and personalities, they would love their own homes just as much!

Today, a momma cat and her 4 tiny kittens were left out by our dumpster in half a cardboard box. Staff were in the building, and the kitties were only found when our cleaners went to take out the trash. They were left in the heat, and the momma cat could have easily gotten scared and fled into the woods or the road. Kittens have a much higher mortality rate when they are without mom, so this could have turned fatal very quickly.

Thankfully, they were found and are all safe in our care now. They will be placed in a foster home until they are all ready to find their forever homes.

We understand that sometimes it seems like there are no options, but we are always here to help the animals and people in our community. Please come in and see us so we can work with you and help keep the animals of our community safe 💚

Happy ! We have a sweet, older gal in the spotlight today! 💚🐾

Meet Willie! At 8 years young, she still has plenty of pep in her step. Her foster says "Willie is a sweet gal who loves to relax next to a good friend! She loves going for a walk around the block and is a champ on a leash. Treats are definitely the way to her heart. She’s game for most treats but has a weakness for peanut butter, spray cheese and has recently found out the cold foam her foster mom uses for her coffee is amazing!"

We have to give a shout-out to our friend Andrea for giving Robin a much needed haircut recently! 💚🐾

This sweet girl came from a situation where she was living outside with a bunch of other dogs and being attacked. She has some healing wounds, but she still has a lot of love for people. She would be happiest in a dog free home as she heals up from her trauma.
