☀️We will be closed 8/19-8/23 for vacation! ☀️

Before that though, I want to say a big THANK YOU to our wonderful clientele for being so supportive, patient, and encouraging this summer as we’ve navigated some significant staffing changes at the salon.

Although challenging at times, I know change allows for growth, new opportunities and exciting possibilities. I truly look forward to what the future holds for Grand Champion Grooming!

For now though, a few days off to relax and enjoy the end of summer!! 🤩

We will be back to regular hours on 8/24!

🌟 Intergroom 2026 🌟

Last weekend we traveled to NJ to attend a grooming competition with George and Kane.

In the rising start competition George made it to the top 6 finalists out of huge class of incredibly talented groomers! I’m still in awe of all of the prizes we won 🤯 The sponsors were so incredibly generous!! The mentors that helped during the competition gave me so much advice to be able to grow my confidence in this trim. It was a great learning experience and so much fun being able to be in Best in Show Saturday evening!

Kane the Irish Setter won 1st place in a beautiful freestyle class! Freestyle at this show is very different than others and I was so nervous that we weren’t in the right class….so ending up with a 1st place was a surprise and an honor among so many talented groomers. Kane makes my job easy, he’s so beautiful and has the best coat. I was grateful to receive some feedback on little ways I can improve his haircut and am looking forward to Hershey (🤞 ) to show him off again!
I’m so grateful to my wonderful client Jack Bippus for allowing me to show Kane.

Can’t wait until the next show in a few months!!

Thirteen shares and ZERO inquiries about this sweet girl who is desperately seeking a home. This pup was acquired when LCPD was called for a stray pick up. At the time they had no shelters open to send her to so we stepped in and helped. When an owner wasn’t found, we got stuck with her as we didn’t want to send her to a cold unfamiliar shelter. We hoped our community of dog owners might know someone looking to adopt.

Please continue to share! Someone out there must want a sweet companion dog, running partner, playmate for their dog? The ideal home will continue her training and give her plenty of attention. We will even consider donating a “scholarship” to either our classes at Dog Sense or our daycare program! If you’re looking to grow your family please email us at [email protected]
