Garden of the Gods, Air Force Academy, NORAD, and, of course, Altitude K-9. In this community of 600,000 there is a kennel that caters to the serious working dog handler. Our staff has more than a century of combined dog training experience. Because integrity is cornerstone to Altitude K-9 we not only offer the best of the best in dogs but are intentional about appropriately matching dog and handler. We specialize in working dogs with emphasis on Dutch Shepherds, Malinois and German Shepherds. We breed, train and prep quality breeds for work in many fields, including search and rescue, personal and public security, law enforcement, first responder, military and drug enforcement, sport and more. These are the breeds public agencies and the private sector look for and the quality they demand. We are dedicated to serving our clients with the utmost integrity and respect. Weekend Recap

We had a fantastic weekend with the North American Dog Sport Federation (NADF)! Over 11 dog-and-handler teams joined us, representing a wide range of breeds—including Dutch Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, German Shepherds, Australian Shepherds, Bull Terriers, Standard Poodles, and mixed breeds.

Huge respect to all the handlers and their dogs. Some teams trained for six months leading up to the event, while others jumped in with just three weeks’ notice. That kind of dedication and adaptability is what makes this sport special.

A big thank-you to Mike and Becci Lane for once again hosting us on their field—your continued support means everything. We also had spectators come in from as far as Sterling, Colorado, and parts of Nebraska. Your presence helped make the event even more memorable.

Special shout-out to our decoys for their safe, consistent catches, and a heartfelt thanks to the secretaries and deputies who kept everything running smoothly. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Looking ahead, NADF is entering a new phase. We’re working on an annual rule update and exploring a potential name change. One exciting addition on the horizon is Tiny Tots—a new division for dogs 30 pounds and under, with tailored rules and exercises.
