Before the 4th of July, NOW is the time to make sure:

🐾 1. If your dog needs prescription medication for anxiety or calming, contact your veterinarian now. Don’t wait until the last minute!

🐾 2. Make sure your dog’s collar has current identification tags and that their microchip information is up to date.

🐾 3. Create a safe, secure space inside your home where your dog feels comfortable. Close curtains, turn on a TV, fan, or calming music to help reduce the noise from fireworks.

🐾 4. Exercise your dog earlier in the day before fireworks begin. A tired dog is often a calmer dog.

🐾 5. Keep pets indoors during fireworks and double-check gates, doors, and fences. Even dogs who never run away can panic and escape when frightened.

A little preparation now can help keep your pets safe, comfortable, and stress-free this Independence Day.

Update from my time at the U.S. Pet Pro Classic this year: and feeling incredibly grateful. ❤️

I may not have placed in my competition class this time, but I gained something just as valuable - experience, feedback, confidence, and motivation for the next competition.

This expo was so extra special to me and brought so many new connections, friendships, and opportunities I never expected. I had an amazing time working with the Texas Professional Pet Groomers Association team in the booth, capturing content for TPPGA socials, and participating in interviews with competitors, companies, sponsors, and brands throughout the event.

Every event reminds me that growth is not defined by a plaque that says you did it, but instead it comes from showing up, being willing to learn, and continuing to push yourself, which is what I strive to do for YOU all to make sure Hound Town Grooming Spaw is THE place 🩵✨
