✨ Meet Chata ✨
Chata is a sweet, affectionate girl with a gentle heart & a fun, playful personality. She enjoys being around her people & forms strong bonds once she feels comfortable in her environment.
She does very well with other dogs & has a naturally submissive demeanor, making her a great fit for a home with canine companions. Chata also coexists well with cats, only occasionally engaging in playful chasing when initiated.
Chata can be a bit shy when meeting new people at first, but with patience & kindness, she warms up quickly & becomes incredibly loving & loyal.
She would do best in a home with older children or adults. While she is friendly, she can become excited & may accidentally knock over younger children.
She is about 95% potty trained & continues to make great progress. She can become distracted while outside, so she benefits from being monitored during potty breaks to help keep her on track.
Chata is a wonderful dog with so much love to give. With continued guidance & a committed home, she will grow into a well-mannered, devoted companion.

Chata did finish her 10 week training course with RPSM and knows dozens of commands!

Tracking In The Shadows - Rescuing Lost Dogs

FROM RYAH’S 2ND REPORT:

RYAH IS A FEMALE 8 MONTH OLD BOXER MIX THAT WEIGHTS 40 LBS. RYAH GETS ALONG WITH OTHER DOGS AND KIDS, AND WOULD MOST LIKELY GET ALONG WITH CATS IF INTRODUCED SLOWLY. RYAH ENTERED 10 WEEKS OF TRAINING ON MAY 22ND AND WILL BE READY TO COME HOME WITH HER APPROVED FAMILY ON AUG 7TH. RYAH’S APPROVED ADOPTER WILL RECEIVE HER WEEKLY REPORTS.

Ryah had a very productive week. She is still settling into her new and strange environment. She is taking on our environment like a champ. She has explored the entire compound here and still has some things she is tentative about, the majority of her problems are with small, enclosed areas.
Ryah is a very intelligent dog. Her food drive is high. Her toy drive is low. She is picking up the curriculum in our program fairly good so far. She is great with No, Leave It, and Out. When she arrived here, she nibbled on a few things, a pillowcase and an envelope. She has since learned she is better off chewing on her bones .
Ryah loves to be near her people. She did quite a bit of jumping when she arrived, we are almost to the point where her jumping behavior is extinguished. Ryah’s 10 weeks here are going to teach her a lot and she is a lot of fun to work with and a joy to walk; her leash walking is coming along nicely.

TUCKER IS A GRADUATE OF THE RPSM CANINE COMPANIOIN PROGRAM! TUCKER GETS ALONG WITH OTHER DOGS, CATS, AND KIDS AGED 10 YEARS AND OLDER DUE TO TUCKER’S SIZE! TUCKER IS A 11 MOTNTH OLD MIXED BREED THAT WEIGHTS 70 LBS! TUCKER RE-ENTERED TRAINING ON 5/22 TO BRUSH UP ON HIS MANNERS. TUCKER WILL BE READY TO COME HOME WITH HIS APPROVED ADOPTER ON AUG 7TH. TUCKER’S ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN LOWERED! SUBMIT YOUR APP TODAY! APPROVED ADOPTERS WILL RECEIVE TUCKER’S WEEKLY REPORTS. CHECK HIM OUT TODAY AND SUBMIT YOUR APP!

Tucker’s decompression is coming along great. He still has a way to go. He has bonded beyond expectation with his handlers. He is a lot of fun when he lets loose and gets into “play” mode. He continues to impress us with his retention of the basic commands he learned in his first time through the program.
His loose leash walking is excellent, he responds great to leash pressure, and has no problems with distractions. We will find a few new tricks for Tucker to challenge him with. He proves to be very smart and eager to learn.
We are looking forward to start socializing Tucker at the end of quarantine this week. As it is, we are doing a lot of walking around the compound to help generalize him to this environment. We have also started to allow other handlers to walk him to reinforce his loose leash walking. Tucker seems to be very interested in his future fuzzy playmates, with meet and greets just around the corner, we have a lot to look forward to.
