Hello Facebook, my name is Bartok and this is my story so far.
I came to Aiding Area Animals with my sister (pooka) and two other kittens (Anastasia and Dimitri). I was a sick boy and had a lot of problems with my eyes. I got better but nothing seemed to help my one of my eyes.
They did all they could to save my eye but the time came where saving it wasn't optional. So in the loving care of all paws and claws they removed my eye. I was a hit with the staff. Everyone seemed to love me but one more then any of the others.
The next day I had some serious drainage and had to return to the vet to get checked out. They watched over me and got me better. Once again everyone was in love with me.
The day i was going to be picked up the woman who worked there who had fallen for me asked how to go about adopting me. Seems she has soft spot for one eyed animals because she already had a dog who also had one eye.
She adopted me and I got to go home with her to finish healing.
My story goes to show sometimes your worse day can turn into your best

Someone was nice enough to donate us a tree for lights of love to help us reach more people in the community . We have gotten it decorated and are excited about tommorrow. So come join us before the parade for the reading of the names and see all the beautiful trees. This is great a cause and we would like to thank the lions club for all they do.

Looking to do some good will this holiday season? Why not donate to local rescue Aiding Area Animals? In the last month we have vetted over 40 cats this included spay/neuter, check ups, 1 eye removal surgery, 1 surgery to check for polyps, just to name a few things. Our goal is to provide a safe and loving environment for the animals in our care but this goal costs a lot to achieve. As a nonprofit we rely on the support of the community. Any little help is greatly appreciated.

We are looking for people and businesses to donate to help us out with some medical expenses that unexpectedly came up which included 2 surgeries (one being an eye removal) and FIP medication. We rely solely on donations from the community to help us help the animals. So please donate if you can and share this post to help us reach As many people as possible.

Just some of the kittens who will be spayed and neutered on the 28th of this month. Most of the kittens will be available for adoption the first week of November. Some have already had adoption holds put on them so if you would like more information about any of them or want to sponsor a certain kitten's spay or neuter please message us.

Meet our 5 newest kittens cobblers. They will be a week old on Friday.
So here is the story about their mother (freya). She came to us with another mama cat(Hera)and their 13 kittens. They had co-parented all of them so we were not sure how many kitten each mama had. But the biggest shock of all is we realized Freya was pregnant when she had come to the rescue. So now we have 5 more healthy beautiful kittens who in the months to come will be needing to find their forever homes.

Dirk says he had a blast learning to play Euchre with the Hoomans. He also says you should come to Crescent Comics & Games and check out the yummies we have for sale by donation. All the money goes to helping vet and spay/neuter the kittens.
