“Red” is the sweetest 7 month old lab puppy who was surrendered locally. He is a goofy and active- typical lab puppy! He had his wellness visit/vaccines here today and will be neutered in a few weeks. As temperatures rise, we tend to bring our pets along more frequently, but sometimes the safest place for them is at home. Vermont's weather can be quite unpredictable, and even if it's cool now, it could become significantly warmer within an hour. While open windows, shaded parking, and running the car's air conditioning may provide some relief, they are not foolproof solutions. Therefore, please exercise caution when deciding to bring your pet along in the car.

We are experiencing intense traffic delays for up to 30+ minutes all along Blakely Road from Rozzi's to Lavigne Road due to the construction at the Marina. If you are stuck in traffic and think you will be late to your appointment, please call us. We have a 10 minute grace period for appointments, which may mean that your appointment gets rescheduled at our discretion. Please plan ahead if you are driving this way! Thank you!

If your pet needs medication refills or food that is considered a special order, please place orders with us by 12:00pm this Friday for delivery next week. In preparation for the upcoming holiday, our Hill's food order will be placed on Friday Nov 22nd. If you need us to order a specific food, please call the office right away so we can place the order for you. Please check your medication supply as well as we could see delays in shipping starting before Black Friday.

Halloween is just a few days away and our spooky holiday could be extra spooky for some pets. How can you keep your pet safe during this spooky time of year?
Provide a safe space for your pet to retreat during gatherings.
Be mindful of where your pets are when opening doors for trick-or-treaters.
Keep ALL candy and chocolate away from pets.
Costumes can be fun but also stressful, please be mindful of how your pet reacts to costumes, loose strings/fabrics/feathers can create a health hazard.
Ensure your pet has proper identification and that it has current contact information (ask us about microchips!).
