Nora really said go big or go home. 😂🐍🥚

On May 12th, Nora and Noah surprised us with a HUGE clutch of 17 corn snake eggs. We honestly did not expect that many from her, so opening the lay box was definitely a moment. 👀

We split the eggs into two containers just to give them a little more room, and while a few may end up being slugs, we’re giving every single egg a chance. Around here, we incubate till there’s no debate. ❤️

Now we wait and see how many tiny little noodle faces decide to peek out in the coming weeks. 🐍

Eggs in the oven at Comet’s Critters 👀🥚

On 4/21, Olivia Benson officially laid a clutch of 6 eggs from our Olivia x Elliot Stabler pairing! We’re beyond excited to see what this season brings from these two gorgeous leucistic Texas rat snakes. 🤍

Now comes the hardest part… the waiting game. Incubators are running, humidity is dialed in, and we’ll be watching these eggs like hawks over the next several weeks.

🥚 Egg-citing News from Comet’s Critters! 🥚

Olivia has officially laid her 2026 clutch!

After locking back in March and following a near-perfect timeline, everything played out just how we hoped—right down to her settling into the lay box and wrapping up with a beautiful clutch of eggs.

She’s still with them right now, so we’re giving her the space she deserves after doing her thing 💪

Zero, our leucistic black rat snake, still insisting this is his hide.

There is an entire enclosure. Multiple options.
He has chosen this rock.

He does, in fact, still manage to fit.
Barely.
Sometimes the lid comes off a bit but that’s not going to stop him!

Another couple of amazing animals off to their new homes 🏡✨

Powder the Leucistic Texas Rat Snake and Cisco the Crested Gecko are officially off to their people, and we couldn’t be happier for them.

Moments like this are always a mix of excitement and a little bittersweet. We put a lot into raising and caring for these animals, so seeing them go is never nothing… but knowing they’re going to great homes makes it all worth it.

Thank you to everyone who trusts us with your new additions. It truly means a lot 💛
