Rainy days are always a little tricky when you’re boarding a full house of pups! We do our best to keep everyone happy, comfortable, and our house as clean as possible. That means lots of paw wiping, towels by the doors, and quick potty breaks whenever the rain gives us a little break.

A little rain may change our routine, but it definitely doesn’t stop the fun!

Ever wonder what a day of boarding or daycare looks like at Paws Of A Good Time? Well, no need to wonder!

Our days are all about giving the pups the perfect mix of playtime, fresh air, socialization, relaxation, and lots of love—all while enjoying the comforts of my home.

We start our mornings outside with potty breaks and plenty of time to sniff, explore, stretch their legs, and play with their friends. Throughout the day, the dogs get lots of outdoor time, weather permitting. During the hottest part of the day, we keep outside time shorter to make sure everyone stays cool and comfortable. Once the sun starts to settle and the temperature cools down, it’s back outside for longer play sessions and more backyard fun!

Our large, fully fenced backyard wraps around the house, giving everyone plenty of space to run, play, and explore. For extra peace of mind, both exits have an additional gate, creating a double-gated entry to help prevent any accidental escapes.

When it’s time to come inside, the pups are free to play, socialize, nap, or find their favorite cozy spot to relax. Fresh, clean water is always available both inside and throughout the backyard, with bowls cleaned and refilled regularly.

And one of the best parts? No kennels and no being stuck in a room all day. Just a comfortable home environment filled with attention, companionship, playtime, downtime, and plenty of love.

Because when they stay at Paws Of A Good Time, we want it to feel like their home away from home. 🐾🏡

Happy Friday and Labor Day weekend! 🇺🇸 We have some pups coming and some heading home, but in between all the arrivals and departures, we’re getting everything ready—washing dog beds, cleaning bowls, freshening everything up, and, of course, soaking up all the love from these cuties!
