Any tea drinkers out there? We are working with a gourmet looseleaf tea producer to offer their line of high-quality teas this winter. We will be featuring our signature "Hidden Pines Christmas Cookie" flavor. These are beautifully packaged and are not only delicious but will make wonderful gifts! Growing Christmas trees is easy, right?

Took a nice long drive Western Michigan today to bring nearly 6,000 beautiful baby Christmas trees back home to Ohio! I say back to Ohio because their seeds came from the Ohio State University Canaan Fir seed orchard in Wooster. The Peterson family grows some great transplants.

I’m honored today to be able to speak to a group of Indiana and Illinois Christmas tree farmers about the importance of, and how to write a business plan for their farm. It was a pretty nice drive this morning.

Here's another option for your tree disposal!

Trees wanted!🌲

If you have a real christmas tree that you are looking to get rid of, consider donating it to us! We love to use the trees to give to our animals to encourage their natural behaviors, and add something new to their environment.

If donating to us, please make sure there are no decorations left on the tree as they can injure our animals. Additionally, we cannot accept any trees that have been treated or painted.

If you would like to donate your tree to us, you can drop it off daily in between 9am-5pm.
Give us a call whenever you arrive, and we can direct you where to go!
Note: We are NOT accepting donations on New Years day!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas Day! It’s hard to believe it’s come and gone already. In the coming days you may be thinking about how to responsibly dispose of your tree.

For those of you who live in a city like Clyde, your tree may be left at the curb and will be recycled by the city. Some communities like Fremont offer drop off locations where your tree will be collected and recycled.

If you do not have a recycling resource for your tree, please feel free to drop it back off at the farm. Your undecorated live tree may be delivered to the farm any day throughout the winter months. You may leave it near the white garage at the front of the driveway and we will take it from there.
