While we celebrate the red, white, and blue, don’t forget that this holiday can be stressful for our furry friends. Fireworks, loud gatherings, and summer heat can all pose risks to pets.
Tips to keep pets safe tonight:
• Keep pets indoors and create a quiet, secure space
• Make sure ID tags and microchips are up to date
• Avoid feeding table scraps—many holiday foods are toxic to pets
• Never bring pets to firework displays
Wishing you and your pets a safe and happy Independence Day! ❤️💙🐶🐱

Our Story

Our Clovis Veterinarian Keeps Your Pets Healthy and Active Welcome to Family Pet Hospital, home to your Clovis and Fresno veterinarians. Our veterinary hospital is proud to help all cat and dogs live long, active and healthy lives. Our veterinarians and staff focus on providing high quality preventative wellness care, including annual exams, vaccinations, spay/neuter, pet dental care, pet surgery and senior pet care. Our veterinarians also provides puppy and kitten wellness services to help pets get a healthy “head start” in life. Pet Wellness Care, Advanced Pet Surgery and More Available at Our Veterinary Hospital. Proactive care is the best way to prevent common health problems and help your pet stay active for years to come. Our veterinarians, Dr. Singh, Dr. Gill, and Dr. Nayyar recommend regular wellness exams for all pets. This exam is an important opportunity for our vet to assess your pet’s overall health. We will perform a full physical, take a f***l sample to test for parasites, and conduct diagnostic blood work to check for symptoms of illness. In addition to annual wellness exams, our veterinarian also recommends regular pet dental cleanings. Our vet will also confirm that your pet is up-to-date on all core vaccinations, including rabies and distemper. Vaccinations prevent highly contagious illnesses, which can easily be spread from pet to pet at dog parks and grooming salons. Our veterinary hospital provides routine pet surgery, including spay and neuter procedures, which we strongly recommend for all pets. Doing so not only helps to control the unwanted animal population, but these procedures may also help to extend your pet’s life. Neutering males helps to control unwanted behavior, such as spraying to mark territory, and also eliminates the risk for testicular cancer. All pet surgeries are conducted in our state-of-the art pet surgical suite. Our veterinarians understands that even routine procedures can be stressful. That’s why we work closely with pet owners to provide superior veterinary care. We follow strict pain protocols to ensure the comfort and safety of your pet during every operation. This includes closely monitoring anesthesia. Our high-tech diagnostic equipment includes ultrasound and digital radiography for precise injury diagnosis. We offer arthroscopy, endoscopy, cold laser therapy and stem cell therapy. Following any procedure, we send all pets home with detailed instructions for post-surgical care. At Family Pet Hospital, we know that your pets are an important part of your family – and we are excited to welcome them into our pet family! We are honored to be your trusted veterinary partner and we work hard each day to uphold the trust that you place in us. Our veterinarians are always happy to answer any questions you may have about pet care, including vaccinations, pet surgery and pet dental care.
