The early portion c**n season opened up and last night was Our first chance to go, so I loaded up all the curs. They caught 2 grinners on the ground, treed 1 c**n, and treed another time, but left before I could drive around and get back to them.

Frank and Bone haven’t been out of their pen for 10 days since we have been on vacation. The first thing Frank did was go tree a squirrel when I did get him out at 6 last night when it was still 98 degrees.
Then I took them for a ride and later a road hunt. Turned them out on 3 different c**n tracks crossing the road and they didn’t get, stay put treed, on any of them. Finally after dark I roaded them and they got one treed, but they were so hot they didn’t tree very hard. It was still 86 when we quit.

Hunted Indie and Jubilee down over 11 miles of atv trails this morning at daybreak and no c**n trees. Indie tried one cold track for about a 100 yards. They did get some good exercise.
