Trust is one the of biggest factors when it comes to training Labradors.. they must learn to trust you in the field and back at home. Trust when you line them
out and say “Dead Bird Back” that there is a duck back there and a good dog will work themselves to death until told otherwise to retrieve it for you. On the flip side they also have to understand that back home you will enforce rules and commands. They most know they will act right, not for treats but because they want to see you pleased. Most importantly love, I have had many dogs come through my program that by the end of it would take on any threat for me out of love. Take care of your dog and a good dog will take care of you….
