Everyone, meet Six! Six is currently enrolled in our general obedience program at Duck Down Retrievers. We are privileged to provide training services to canine companions from across the United States, and Six comes to us from an exceptional local family. The experience of training him has been truly rewarding. We extend our sincerest gratitude to our local community for their unwavering support. Presently, Six is working with us in the garden, preparing for our forthcoming spring planting!

ATTENTION: Duck Down Retrievers Policy for Active Duty and Combat Military Veterans. Over the years, we have maintained a program that has assisted numerous civilians who have suffered severe debilitating injuries and are navigating unexpected life-altering events. We are now expanding our program to include a chosen active-duty soldier or combat veteran each month, who will receive a complimentary one-month general obedience training program. Our first available spot will commence in April and continue thereafter. At Duck Down Retrievers, we believe that to whom much is given, much is expected, and our business has been abundantly blessed. There are SO MANY DOGS that come through our program that we don’t get a chance to snap a cute photo of. Little Boykin Spaniels pound for pound are hard to beat. Until you watch a 30 pound dog pick a 13 pound Canada goose, you haven’t lived! Everyone meet Miss Ivy in our retriever program. Getting this girl in the water has been a TASK. But the number #1 thing you don’t do is rush dogs through the program, through weeks of encouragement we showed her there is nothing to fear. Now 4 days in from when she took those first steps into the pond, she is hitting the water like a rocket ship. YOU GO KIDDO!!!
