🥹💙 A little kindness, a little luck, and a whole lot of good happening in our community.

Angie got to hand off the prize from her raffle benefiting Creekside Cares Alliance to one very lovely Creekside client who deserves a win! 💙 We love getting to celebrate our people, especially when a little fun can turn into something meaningful for pets in need.

And that meaning? It adds up FAST.

🐾 Just last week alone, donations helped us get 5 pets in a pinch the care they needed. Five pets who got a little help when they needed it most, because people like YOU chose to care.

We also still have 3 kitties in our care who have been brought in off the streets, spayed so they won’t be adding more kittens to an already overwhelming number of homeless cats, and are now ready to find families of their own. 🐱💙

That’s what Creekside Cares Alliance is all about: helping the pets who need us, supporting the people who love them, and making our community a little better, one pet at a time.

Thank you for showing up for these pets. Thank you for donating, buying raffle tickets, sharing posts, and caring about the animals who might otherwise be overlooked.

More good days for more pets and people. That’s what we’re working toward, together. 💙🐾

Many ear infections can actually be triggered by allergies. If your pet has a history of ear infections, it’s time to make an appointment with Creekside Veterinary Hospital to take a closer look.

🐾📣 Excuse me, hoomans! Your friendly first-of-the-month reminder has ARRIVED! 🐶☝️

This little cutie has an important message for you… 👀💙

It’s time for your pet’s monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention! 💊🐾

Here in East Tennessee, heartworm disease is a very real concern. 🦟 Mosquitoes can transmit heartworms that damage the heart and lungs, and the Southeast remains one of the highest-risk regions in the country. ❤️‍🩹

And those tiny hitchhikers? Fleas and ticks are more than just annoying! 🐜 Fleas can cause itchy skin, allergic reactions, and even transmit tapeworms. Ticks can spread diseases like ehrlichiosis, Lyme disease, and Rocky Mountain spotted fever. 😬

The good news? Prevention is a simple way to help protect your favorite four-legged family member! 🐕💙

☑️ Give their monthly prevention
☑️ Keep them protected year-round
☑️ Give yourself a little peace of mind

So go ahead… take the hint from our very persuasive front-desk assistant! 😂🐾 That little face is counting on you!

💙 More prevention. More protection. More good days. 💙

💙 A picture is worth a thousand words, but this one says everything about what we believe at Creekside. 🐾

Meet Junior. We met this sweet boy on an emergency basis after he suffered a significant cut to his leg that was causing severe, active bleeding. Understandably, he was hurting and scared.

Enter Katie A. 💙

This photo captures our veterinary assistant, Katie, doing what comes naturally to her: wrapping her arms around a patient and making sure he knows he isn’t alone.

You might notice Junior is wearing a basket muzzle. These muzzles allow dogs to breathe, bark, and even eat while providing a layer of safety for our team. They’re one of the tools that can help us practice low-stress handling, especially when a pet is painful, frightened, or in an unfamiliar environment.

And here’s the best part? Despite being very hurt and very scared, Junior turned out to be a 100% certified sweetie pie. 🥹

A little behind-the-scenes detail: Dr. Radford captured this photo from inside what we affectionately call the fishbowl. It’s the room where our doctors spend time charting, reviewing patients, and writing treatment plans. It’s surrounded by windows, which means we can keep an eye on what’s happening throughout the hospital even when we’re working behind the scenes.

And let us tell you, the number of times we look up and catch a moment like this is more than we can count. ❤️

Because sometimes the most important part of emergency care isn’t just stopping the bleeding, treating the injury, or making a medical plan. It’s making sure a scared pet feels safe enough to accept our help.

At Creekside, pets aren’t just patients. They’re family. And family deserves a hug when they need one. 💙

More Good Days. Because pets are family. 🐾
