Kinetic Veterinary Specialists is proud to welcome Dr. Matthew Johnson to our surgery team!
Dr. Johnson isn’t just another board-certified veterinary surgeon.
After becoming board certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, he went on to earn one of the rarest distinctions in veterinary surgery—becoming the first veterinary surgeon ever to complete the ACVS Fellow designation in Minimally Invasive Surgery (Orthopedics, Small Animal).
Today, he remains one of very few veterinary surgeons in the world to hold both board certification in surgery and an ACVS Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Orthopedics.
His expertise includes:

Dr. Johnson combines advanced technology, evidence-based medicine, and rehabilitation principles to help pets recover faster, move better, and get back to doing what they love. His collaborative approach and commitment to innovation make him an incredible resource for both pet owners and referring veterinarians.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Johnson enjoys staying active by running and competing in triathlons. He also loves spending time with his family, whether relaxing at the beach or exploring mountain trails.
