Hi, we added three more hives yesterday to our bee yard . They are some of the nicest packages I've ever gotten, the queens were all healthy looking and very little dead workers. Every day I'm thankful for what God above does for us on our little farm. If it's not watching baby chicks hatch it's my favorite mechanic getting her lawn mower ready to mow. We are truly blessed and we are both thankful for all the support we receive from all of you who not only follow us but also come to our markets. Spring is in the air and the greenhouse is getting full of nice starter plants for the gardens. We hope everyone has a blessed week and God bless.

Getting ready for the market season, hopefully the weather cooperates and we have a warm spring. I've had the tomatoes and peppers in for 6 weeks so I added the zucchini and squash plants today. Along with a couple of flats of gherkins and marketmore cukes. Hope you all have a great weekend and God bless.

Nothing better than starting the pepper seeds on a cold February day. Well hopefully boiling some Maple sap in the next week could be better and making some maple syrup. Hope to see some sprouts in a week to ten days. I'll be starting to tap our trees on Tuesday and looking forward to some warmer weather coming. Hope everyone has a great weekend and God bless.

Happy New Year from all of us at Lakeview Farms, we had a great year with all the support of each and everyone of our customers. We are so completely blessed by each and every one of you. We thank you for your constant support, we are truly blessed and we look forward to 2026. We had some ups and downs this past year, hopefully we have learned what works and what doesn't. We truly wish all of you a blessed 2026 , we hope to see you at the Sugar house this winter and the berry patch this summer. Well, we are making progress getting our new to us evaporator set up. The stack is almost done then on to the insulation and the bricks. Hopefully I can get some done this week, I've learned not to rush or cut corners it truly pays off in the long run. I'm going to fabricate a flip top cap for the stack and we should be looking good for next Maple season. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, we have been truly blessed this year with all the support of our customers. We thank you all and hope to see you all at the farm stand this year. Hey everyone, just putting it out there that we made a few extra Shiitake and Oyster logs. They will start fruiting next year and should last between 2 to 5 years depending on the size.
