We have been keeping a little bit of a secret. While we didn't get to take off like expected, we are rising up with a new addition. I am so excited about this pedigree and what the future brings. Phlox will be a great big sister/auntie whatever you want to call it.

Beautiful morning for a hunt test!

The hardest part of being an ethical and responsible breeder is not breeding that dog that checks all the external boxes because of a health concern.
We have made the difficult decision to not breed our beautiful Phlox. While she meets all our boxes of type, temperament, and shows good bird skills, she also had shown signs of allergies that should not be passed on.

Phlox will not be going anywhere, she will be spayed this winter and continue performance training. She has shown a true love for bird hunting. I also believe she will be the best big sister and auntie for our future dogs!!

While our first litter is going to be delayed, we are planning a new addition that will be announced at a later time. Stay tuned for updates

Happy 4th of July!!!

I know we have been a bit quiet over here, but everyone needs a little R & R every once in a while and also catch up on some house chores.
However, we have been working on our fall schedule and getting in some field training!! Here is a glimpse of how our Saturday mornings start, note the tail!! I hadn't even put "real clothes" on yet, still had jammies on, but she was ready for birds!!!

Back home from another eventful 2026 UKC Premier!! From thunderstorms and tornados to beautiful, warm sunshine, to 60° and back to rain. My girl showed her little heart out!!

Thursday was the Top 10 invitational. We won Best of Breed and made a cut in the Semi-finals.

Friday: We win the Champion class and went on to win Best of Breed over Grand Champions. We got a hard look in the Gun dog group, but we didn't make the cut. We also had 2 DASH runs, and qualified easily for 2 legs toward her RUSH title.

Saturday: I'm going to say this was our R & R day. We were not what the judge was looking for at all and didn't make it out of our class. We had 2 DASH qualifying runs to (unofficially) finish her RUSH title.

Sunday: We woke up to rain, and cold, and we showed outside again. We picked up another Champion class win and Best of Breed. Our group judge was the judge from the previous day who didn't use us. We still played in the ring and had a blast!! We opted to skip DASH due to the rain.

So proud of this girl!!! Here are some pictures, videos will come after dinner.

Good Morning from Wh***ey Point Brittanys!! We have been home the last 2 weeks working on home chores and much needed field training. However sometimes you just gotta take it easy with your lambchop toy!

If my count is correct, and I really hope they are!!

Phlox just finished her AKC Grand Champion title!

Today at the Kokomo Kennel Club she took Select for a 4pt major.

Then this afternoon, with the Greater Indianapolis Brittany Club she took Best of Opposite for another 4 point major.

Official picture to come , but I really hope math is correct!!
