Sometimes taking a step back to see the big picture is all you need to assure yourself you’re not stuck.
I’m not where I want to be, but I’m where I wanted to be 5 years ago!😊
This month makes 6 full years of training for the public, there has been times where I thought I needed to go find a part time job.. but then you guys pull through and book me out for months!
So thankful to be able to do what I love and call it work.
Thank you clients for allowing me to chase my passion!

Did someone say “paint”?
This is the most amount of color, I’ve had in the barn at once.⚫️🟤⚪️🟡
- pickles: 4yo in for c**t starting (palomino)
- sox: 3yo in for c**t starting/tune up (buckskin)
- zeke: 3yo in for c**t starting (grulla)

We also have a few others in the barn. ❤️❤️🤎

C**t starting isn’t just about getting one to ride.. some horses need more. More time on ground work, more time to gain trust, more time to wrap their heads around what’s going on.
One minute they’re in the pasture for 2 years, getting handled very little or not at all, the next they’re being handled 5x + a week. That’s a hard transition on their mind and body. So taking each day at their own pace will help transition them from no work, to being ridden. At this age, there is only so much you can do, you just have to scale out your training and decide what’s best for each horse. Remember it’s your horses timeline not your training expectations. Making a horse doesn’t happen in 30-120 days.. it happens over years.

I will not be taking in any more outside horses unless I get a cancellation.

January 4th will start us off for the new year. 27’
Prices are going to change, and I will likely be looking for help.

Job is Monday- Friday, early mornings! (Summer time) in the winter, times will likely change to mid day.
- mucking stalls and tending to the horses is the main task, although riding c**ts may be considered depending on riding abilities, and reliability.
I’ll have job applications out in December. If you think this is something for you, keep us in mind.

If you have a c**t that needs started, plan ahead.😊 I’d be happy to help.

Another rehab horse.
- injury to the right hind extensor tendon/cannon bone. Occurred May 14th.
Began by veterinary examination, stitches, x rays, and antibiotics.
Followed by 90 days stall rest and counting, tension wrap every 3-5 days, dressed with silver honey rapid wound spray. After 80% of the wound had closed, I quit with the tension wrap, and used underwood horse medicine.
- Theraplate sessions 2x a day!🤗
The process is long and time consuming but the rehab has came a long ways.
