Help us wish Chance a very happy 1st birthday! 🐶🎉

Since joining the Placer County Probation Department as our Support Canine in May, Chance has brought comfort, smiles, and plenty of tail wags to our clients and staff.

He’s been busy learning and growing, too! Chance has completed beginner and intermediate training, agility training, and most recently, passed his Canine Good Citizen test. We’re so proud of all he’s accomplished. Up next: preparing for his Urban Canine Good Citizen certification!

When he’s not working or training, Chance enjoys pup cups, walks, belly rubs, hugs, time with his trainers Unee and Hailey, spending time with clients and staff, and—of course—his beloved cheddar biscuits. 🦴

Happy birthday, Chance! We’re so lucky to have you on our team. Thank you for bringing so much happiness, comfort, and unconditional love to our department. Here’s to another year of adventures, treats, and tail wags! ❤️
