🍻 Pack Walk & Brewery Training – Tonight in Folsom!

Join us tonight at 7PM for a special Pack Walk designed to help dogs and their humans practice calm behavior in real-world settings—specifically at a brewery.

We’ll meet at Granite Mini Park in Folsom, take a short walk together, and then head to Red Bus Brewing to work on settling, ignoring distractions, and making good choices in a busy public environment.

This is a training opportunity, not a social event for the dogs—so please note:
✅ No dog-on-dog or human-on-dog interactions
✅ Focus on neutrality, calmness, and engagement
✅ All dogs remain leashed and under handler control

📍 Meet at: Granite Mini Park
🕖 Time: 7:00PM
🍺 Training destination: Red Bus Brewing

Check out this awesome before-and-after video of one of our clients and their rescued Belgian Malinois.

Clip 1: The evaluation – the dog is pulling on the leash, weaving, and unaware of the owner.

Join American River Canine for a fun and engaging pack walk at Nimbus Flat State Recreation Area on Sunday the 14th at 9:00am! We’ll meet by the observation deck and enjoy a scenic walk along Lake Natoma and the bike trails, with a splash in the lake for our furry friends.

📅 Date: Sunday, July 14th
🕘 Time: 9:00am
📍 Location: Nimbus Flat State Recreation Area (near the observation deck)
🚗 Note: There is a parking fee for the state park.

Important:

• Registration is required to participate. Please register in advance as spots are limited to 40 dogs. Unregistered attendees will be asked to register on-site.
• All dogs must be on leash and under control. No dog interactions will be permitted.
• Bring p**p bags, water, and training treats.

Children are welcome, and the walk is stroller-friendly. Respectful behavior towards different training philosophies is a must—no confrontations or demeaning actions will be tolerated.
