❣️ New Intakes ❣️

Momma and three tiny kittens — approximately 3 weeks old — are now safe in foster care! 💕

This little family was put up for adoption because their owner could no longer house them. But kittens this young must remain with their mother until at least 8 weeks of age to ensure proper nutrition, social development, and overall health. So we swooped in to keep this family together and safe. 🐾

Momma is tiny, sweet, and doing an incredible job caring for her babies. She’s attentive, calm, and already melting hearts in foster.

🌟 NAME REVEAL 🌟

Our precious new litter officially has names!! 🥰
Momma arrived with the name Alice, so an Alice in Wonderland theme felt absolutely perfect.

✨ Meet: Queen of Hearts, Cheshire, Mad Hatter, TweedleDee, and TweedleDum

The kittens’ upper respiratory infections are healing quickly, and they’re all starting to feel so much better 💪
However, we did get some tough news about sweet TweedleDum. Once the swelling in his eyes finally went down, we discovered significant corneal ulcers underneath. He had been sick for quite some time before coming into our care, and unfortunately that caused severe damage to the surface of his eyes.

We got him in to see our vet right away, and he’s now on additional medications to treat the ulcers and support healing. While we’re not fully out of the woods yet when it comes to his vision, we are still hopeful for a good recovery and are giving him all the care and love he needs 💙

Please send some extra love and good vibes to these little Wonderland cuties—especially brave TweedleDum! 🐾✨

And a huge shoutout to Georgia S. and her kitty Curie, for donating blood so we could get serum! Blood serum from a donor cat is an effective treatment for corneal ulcers, and we greatly appreciate those two!

We would like to make an appreciation post to our two amazing foster homes in Cincinnati that make everything we do possible! Colleen Colson and Trisha G. are the hearts that hold our amazing cats until they can find their forever homes. These are the only fosters we have currently, and we couldn’t do it without them! Due to our size at the moment, we are not looking for new fosters, but appreciate everyone who wants to open their homes to kittens in need!

✨ Update on Our Sick Kittens ✨

The kittens are hanging in there! 💪🐱 These poor babies hadn’t known a full belly in a long time—when they arrived, their little abdomens were completely flat. After just 24 hours in foster, each kitten has gained 1–2 ounces, and their bellies are finally starting to fill out in that classic, pudgy kitten way 🥹💕

Momma is doing wonderfully as well! She’s happily chowing down on kitten food and soaking up some well-earned rest. She is incredibly sweet and sits patiently nearby while the kittens are bottle-fed—watching closely, trusting us, and clearly understanding that we’re helping her babies. 💛

With lots of TLC and proper medications, the kittens’ eyes have shown huge improvement! Two of them are now opening their eyes and seeing. The last baby’s eye is still swollen closed, but it is improving slowly. We are very hopeful that all of the kittens will retain their eyesight 🤞✨

Hopper was rescued from the bitter cold last weekend, found shivering in below-zero temperatures. 💔 Thankfully, she’s now safe, warm, and ready for her next chapter!

She is currently underweight but doing great now that she has consistent meals and a cozy place to rest—she’s well on her way to gaining strength and confidence!

🚨 Urgent Intakes – Please Send Well Wishes 🚨

These sweet kittens came to us in very rough shape. They were born to a mother who is still a baby herself—only 7 months old. This poor young mom is severely malnourished; her hips and ribs are visible, and she has been trying to nurse six kittens while still growing herself. She gave them everything she had… and it’s taken a heartbreaking toll.

The kittens are emaciated, about a qurter to half the size they should be for their age, and very sick. They are suffering from severe upper respiratory infections, with eyes crusted shut and little bodies struggling to keep up. 😔

As we arrived to pick up this family, we were devastated to learn that one kitten had already passed. Our hearts are broken. We are grieving that loss—but now our focus must be on doing everything possible to keep the remaining kittens alive.

These kittens will require medications, warmth, close monitoring, and supplemental bottle-feeding to give them the nutrition and strength they desperately need.

🙏 If you would like to help support the kittens’ recovery, monetary donations are deeply appreciated. Additionally, we will need Kitten Milk Replacer (KMR) and Royal Canin Mother & Babycat wet food—both of which can be expensive and will go quickly with five kittens and mom. 🎄 Adopt Charlie Brown 🎄

Our little snow survivor is ready for a home of his own! We are accepting applications for the most precious little kitten there ever was 😻

Charlie Brown was found in December frozen to a driveway. His finders did the best they could to keep him alive until they found him the help he needed. Charlie was hypothermic and hypoglycemic, but our amazing foster was able to save his life! He was sick with an upper respiratory infection and had parasites. His beginning was rough and we were sure he would make it this far, and now that he is thriving he needs a family that will love him 🫶🏻

Charlie would love a home with another young cat/kitten to befriend! He is good with dogs, and prefers a quieter home.

💙 Good Vibes Needed for Merry 💙

Merry is dealing with a complication from his neuter, and unfortunately the surgical site has become infected. He has a vet appointment this afternoon to determine the best treatment plan and get him feeling better as soon as possible.

Despite everything, Merry is being incredibly brave—you’d hardly know anything was wrong by how loudly he purrs and how sweet he is. 🥹💙
