🍪 Chocolate Chip is still waiting… 🐾

Every day, Chocolate Chip wonders when his forever family will come for him.

This sweet little boy is the last kitten from Cookie’s litter still searching for a home, along with his momma, Cookie. While all of his siblings have found families of their own, Chocolate Chip is patiently waiting for his turn.

At just 10 weeks old, Chip is everything you could want in a kitten—playful, curious, affectionate, and absolutely overflowing with personality. He loves racing around with toys, exploring every corner of the room, and then curling up for cuddles when playtime is over. His purr motor starts the moment you pick him up, and he never turns down a chance to spend time with his people.

Chocolate Chip is the perfect mix of energetic and loving, making him an excellent companion for just about any home. Whether you’re looking for a playful sidekick, a cuddle buddy, or a lifelong best friend, Chip is ready to fill that role.

Did you know that blind cats can play too? Eno the blind kitten enjoys playing peek-a-boo with his foster mom, attacking his pizza toy, and batting around his jingly ball toy!

Cats are sensory creatures, with many ways to navigate even without vision. They have sensitive whiskers on their face and paws that warn them of objects nearby, stop them from running into objects, and help them navigate. They also have extremely advanced hearing and smell! Eno can find his food and water bowls with ease, and even knows when his water bowl has been refilled!

Cats have fantastic memories as well. Once established in a home, they create a mental map of the locations of furniture, doors, litterboxes, and more! Eventually, they’re able to navigate so well that you can’t even tell they’re blind! They’ll even climb on cat trees, beds, and more!

Blind cats thrive best with a friendly companion cat to help guide and support them. How cute!

🌶️ Our Spicy Colony Kittens Are Almost Fully Recovered! 🌶️

When these kittens first came into rescue, they were suffering from severe upper respiratory infections caused by a combination of feline herpesvirus (FHV-1) and calicivirus. These viruses can cause sneezing, nasal discharge, eye discharge, swollen and inflamed eyes, corneal ulcers, oral ulcers, and other serious complications. Without prompt treatment, these kittens could have lost their eyes—or even their lives.

Their recovery is also an important reminder of why routine vaccination is so critical. The FVRCP vaccine helps protect cats against both herpesvirus and calicivirus, preventing many of the severe symptoms these little ones experienced.

The good news? These spicy babies have come a long way! 🎉 They are still receiving eye medications, but they are nearly 100% recovered and are expected to be ready for adoption in the coming weeks. We are accepting applications now so they can head straight to their forever homes once cleared by our team.

Happy Monday! 🐾

We have had an overwhelming amount of interest in our two Siamese girls, Paxil and Prozac! To be fair to everyone who is interested, we will continue accepting applications until midnight tonight. After that, we will carefully review all applications and place the girls in the homes that are the best fit for their needs.

Please be patient with our team of volunteers as we work through the sudden influx of applications. We truly appreciate your support and understanding! We will reach out within 1–3 business days of receiving your application with an update.

🐱Blind Kitten for Adoption 😎

Meet Eno, short for enucleation.

Eno is an adorable little kitten looking for his forever home. He was rescued from a hoarding situation with over 16 kittens in the home. Seven of those kittens came to us with eyes in critical condition, and sadly, Eno’s eyes could not be saved. He had a double enucleation to remove both eyes.

But Eno does not let that slow him down. 🥹

Despite everything he has been through, Eno is sweet, playful, curious, and so full of life! He loves balls with bells, wrestling with his littermates, and listening closely to the world around him. He gets around incredibly well and uses his litterbox, finds his food bowls, and once he is comfortable, he acts almost like a kitten who can see.

Eno needs a special home that can give him the support he needs to thrive. His forever home must either have no stairs or be able to safely gate them off until he learns how to navigate them. He also needs to go to a home with a friendly cat who can help guide him, or be adopted with one of his seeing littermates.

Eno has known pain and suffering for far too much of his short life. Now, he is pain-free and ready for a life where he is safe, cherished, and loved like the precious little miracle he is. ❤️

Eno has recovered from surgery, and is ready for his forever home!
