Just like many animals in shelter situations, Juniper is showing signs of stress.๐ Part of it is that she needs spayed to help her hormones calm down, but it's also more than that. She wants a bigger pen to run around in, time outside her cage, and individual attention. It's hard to give each pet individual attention when you have so many. I've been trying to spend extra time with her outside her cage so she can run around, but I still feel like it's not enough. She could REALLY use a more individual foster home or foster-to-adopt home. Once she's spayed, she will be able to find a permanent home, but until then, she needs extra attention. She also has a bit of an attitude issue, but I feel that's mostly because she's not spayed and contained most of the time.
Most of our pets are content in their current situation, and it's important to realize when they are not anymore.
Would anyone like to spend some time with her this summer?โ๏ธ Even if it's for a few weeks, getting out of the house and into a more independent foster would bring her so much joy, I know it! ๐ฉท
