While Moose is on the mend he welcomed 6 new offspring to carry on the legacy yesterday. Moose x Red (granddaughter of Moose) is gonna be a straight 🔥Litter!! July 10 the old boy had surgery to repair a complete tear of the CCL and a dislocated knee cap. For a dog that’s all heart it’s been a challenge to keep him calm and confined and resting. He hated the cone of shame and the cast, but yesterday they came off and the staples came out and rehab began. He is ready to attack his PT like he has every field he has ever run, and wants yall to know he is coming back with a vengeance to hunt again!

Today was lots of solo-dolo work and no vids or pics. All three (T**i, Brah, and Sheba) had great points and chase on birds. One more day of quail plants and we will start running em when the seeds come off the grass on released wild quail and pheasant. In the meantime clicker and collar conditioning.

The ole champ turned 10 2 weeks ago and I have been on the road for work. A dog that pulls always on harness cuz it’s always attached to an atv adapted to Gigi’s harness walks and is loving it! You can indeed teach an old dog new tricks.

Royce is basically a finished dog just adding to an already impressive arsenal. We worked hard on his patterning and staying to the front at the Redemption Think Tank weekend, and used pyramid plants like this one while we ran off ATV. This helps a dogs range but more importantly diminishes the yo-yo that many dogs display which is wasting energy by covering ground 2x or more.
