One Paw at a time & 11 amazing ladies joined Good Girls SD on a Saturday Morning to Volunteer at the San Diego Humane Society to package up 1,000lbs of Kitty litter for the Pet Pantry. This amount of litter that we packaged up was done in less than two hours & can help over 300 families in need. The Pet Pantry is built on Volunteers and Donations. The Pet Pantry offers families: Dry Food, Wet Food, Cat Litter, Toys, Treats & More. We all came together to help. After we were done working, we received a VIP tour of the campus and got to see all the amazing remodeling they’ve done to try and get these pets a second chance at a forever home. I may have met this guy as his petsitter but somewhere along the way, we formed a bond that feels like so much more. I’ve told his owners that I’m his step mom and we share custody.😉
When I come over, wherever ever he is, he will run to the kitchen and hop on the counter to get his hello scratched and come rub up on all my stuff. He’ll join me outside for coffee, to sit together then follow me back inside for “therapy” time where we chit chat about life & make biscuits. We’ve been friends for nine years so far & hes one of my favorite cats.🐱
