One Paw at a time turns 10 years old! 🐾
At 23 I started my Petsitting Business from scratch. Creating my Business Name, earning certifications & licenses, putting my business in the newspaper, filing proper paperwork into City Hall, and using my Vet Assistant skills to continue education on medicines, Diets (foods), treats and animal handling. Thank you to all my friends and family for supporting me. Thank you to everyone who has and continues to shout me out and give referrals, for every single review I have & for taking the time to write it (I read them all).🖤
To all my clients from my OG’s since day one and my new ones who just found me, Thank you for your trust & support in letting me care for your pets while you are away. To my Assistants for giving great care to the OPAAT Pack & to my Vendor Friends who have helped me grown my Pet Accessory Merch Line this year. I love my city & I love what I do. Happy Mothers Day (feliz dia de las madres)💕🫶🏻🐾🤰🏻👩🏻‍🍼👩🏻‍🐰‍👩🏼🌻to every form of Motherhood there is.
To my momma who has shown and taught be patience and kindness & that being a mom never ends. To the moms who are raising their kids alone, The ones teaching the next generation manners, The moms who have miscarried and to those expecting…you too are still and always moms. To the moms who lost their children unexpectedly. To the moms advocating for their children struggling with forms of Autism and special needs, to the many women who want children and can’t have them. To the Aunties who step in and love their nieces and nephews with their whole heart. To the women who choose to not have children but would do anything to protect yours. To the kids who lost their mom and today is hard. To the Pet Parents: Dog Moms & Cat Moms and everything in between who do daily countless acts for their fur kids with no hesitation. You are all Mother’s and I wish you all a very special day.

I am proud to be a Dog Mom & have been one for 10 years. Being a Dog mom may not be “the same” as being a human mom but it is still being a mom. My fur child is the brain age of 2-3yrs old. So I get to raise a “toddler” for life. We have early morning, late nights, days where we both cry, “tantrums” potty accidents, sick days, happy days and everything in between. I wouldn’t trade this in for anything. I love being a Dog Mom and a “Temporary Mom” to all the Pets I watch. Being a Mommy is not defined by one path alone. It’s built with love, protection, responsibility & by showing up every day. Here’s to Motherhood Ladies.🩷

Yesterday after 15 years I went back to High School for a cause. 🎶

Hilltop High School had their 3rd Annual Music & Arts Program to raise money for the Band Students. I had the pleasure of Vendoring for the first time here & Hope to come back next year. I got to meet some amazing vendors in the community. 🫶🏻 Gracias to my Amiga .paws coordinating this & for inviting me to come on out.
