Fireworks and dogs. It’s that time of year when fireworks happen and did you know this time of year there are a record number of dogs that run away because of what fireworks do for their senses? This is also why it’s so important that every dog should have a collar and tags, with a valid telephone number to identify them. Check your dog now to make sure they have their collar on and their tags are current. It could mean the difference between finding your beloved frightened pet and never seeing them again!

Even if you don’t own a dog, please be considerate of your neighbors and those within your neighborhood who own dogs if you choose to shoot off fireworks. If you do own a dog, please take a few moments to make sure your dog is securely protected from direct access to the fireworks activities around your home and neighborhood.
