We always recommend fiber protector after professional rug cleaning, especially in homes with pets.

But sometimes our clients choose to decline it — and life happens.

This client has an aging dog, and unfortunately, a new accident happened after the rug returned home. And that’s where we want our clients to know: our job doesn’t end when your rug leaves our facility.

We’re shipping our client a professional wool-safe enzyme treatment to help manage future accidents at home and protect the rug between professional cleanings.

Because their pup is getting older and accidents may become more frequent, we’ve already discussed the long-term plan: another professional cleaning in approximately one year, followed by fiber protector this time to give the rug an added layer of protection.

Fiber protector cannot prevent an accident from happening, but it can help reduce how quickly spills and contamination pe*****te the fibers, giving you valuable time to respond.

Pets age. Accidents happen. Rugs are meant to be lived on. ❤️

“Is my synthetic rug even worth cleaning?”

We get asked this ALL the time.

Our answer? If the backing is still intact and the rug is structurally sound, we believe almost every rug is worth trying to save. ♻️

Synthetic rugs may not carry the same monetary value as a hand-knotted wool rug, but that doesn’t make them disposable.

Synthetic fibers are largely plastic-based, and producing a new rug requires raw materials, manufacturing, packaging, transportation, and energy. Properly cleaning and maintaining the rug you already own can help extend its useful life and keep it out of the landfill longer.

Today we’re cleaning another synthetic rug instead of replacing it. 💪

Take care of what you have. Clean it. Maintain it. Love it. Get as much life out of it as you can.

Because sometimes the most sustainable rug is the one already in your home.

This rug sat in storage for a long time… not because the owner forgot about it, but because they were waiting to find the right company to trust with it.

Years of urine contamination had taken their toll, and on top of that, the rug needed repairs too. This wasn’t a quick cleaning. It was a full restoration.

After a lot of work, we’re so excited to finally send this rug home clean, repaired, and ready for many more years.

That’s why we do what we do. Some rugs are simply worth saving. ❤️

Before we even talk about the 30+ years of soil we removed… we have to talk about trust.
