Clover ended up coming out after a few minutes, thankfully. The sights and smells were great enrichment for her!

Clover is a Black Ratsnake (Pantherophis allegheniensis), Whitesided morph.

The thumbnail isn't just a teaser--NEW SPECIES are almost here, and we've got 10 NEW tests in final validation phase! 🧬🐍🧬

Plus, Shawn gives us a sneak peak at RGI's new website which forms the basis for our future genomic database! The implications for this are endless: Lineage, testing confirmation, animal ID verification after changing owners, and more.

For now, the website is just for ordering the latest tests. But we've got much more on the horizon!

Kayla claims the slug is there for good luck. The real answer is that she was picking eggs out of the lay box in terrible lighting, and didn't realize it was just a plump infertile egg until she was marking them. ✨
