🐾🤎 PUPPY DELIVERY SUCCESS + A LITTLE TIME WITH LOVED ONES! 🤎🐾

We’re so happy to report that our puppy delivery went absolutely amazing! 🥰 Sweet little Brownie was such a good girl for the entire adventure, and the best part was getting to see Miss Nelly meet her new puppy! 🐶🤎 She is absolutely IN LOVE, and seeing them together made every mile of this trip worth it. Our stopover on the way to pick up Brownie was an adventure all on its own! We stayed at the most beautiful Airbnb — it honestly felt like we had stepped onto a little safari! 🌿🐴 Between the gorgeous property, ponds, horseback riding and fishing, it was such a peaceful and unique place to stay.

And can we talk about our wonderful Airbnb host?! 🥹❤️ When we arrived, she had thoughtfully left us a basket filled with fresh quail eggs, fresh chicken eggs, a can of biscuits and a pack of Canadian bacon so we could make ourselves breakfast while we were there! 🍳🥚🥓

How incredibly kind and thoughtful is that?! Those little personal touches mean so much, and it made an already beautiful stay feel even more special. ❤️

Now that Brownie is safely home with her new family, NRV Pet Grooming will be closed while we spend some special time with loved ones visiting from out of state. ❤️

🚗🐾 NRV Pet Grooming is hitting the road! 🐾🚗

Just a little heads-up that we’ll be CLOSED this weekend while Mom, Fluff & Puff, and I head down to South Carolina for a little adventure! ☀️🐾

This trip has an extra-special purpose… tomorrow we’ll be picking up a brand-new puppy for one of our wonderful clients! 🥹🐶💕 We’re so excited to be trusted with such precious cargo!

✨ Who would’ve ever thought to comb between their dog’s toes?! 🐾

It sounds silly… until you see what can happen.

The hair between your dog’s paw pads and toes can become tightly matted from moisture, dirt, grass, snow, mud, and everyday walking. Those mats pull on the skin with every step, trapping debris and making something as simple as walking uncomfortable—even painful.

A quick comb-through of the feet at home can make a huge difference between grooming appointments. It’s one of those little things most pet parents don’t even realize needs attention, and that’s okay—we’re here to help educate, not judge. ❤️

🔥 Burnt = Black

As a groomer, I can confirm… they all still somehow leave glitter (dog hair) on your clothes. 🤣

Now let’s expand the bakery…

🥖 Silver = Whole Wheat?
🥯 Phantom = Cinnamon Swirl? 😂

🌼 WAGGIN’ WEDNESDAY 🐾💛

Did you know your dog’s favorite workout might actually be… their nose? 👃🐶

A dog’s sense of smell is estimated to be up to 100,000 times more powerful than ours! That’s why letting them stop to sniff on a walk isn’t “wasting time”—it’s giving their brain a workout.

Try one of these fun enrichment ideas today:
🌿 Scatter a few treats in the grass.
🧩 Hide their favorite toy around the house.
👃 Let them enjoy a slow “sniffari” instead of rushing through their walk.
🥜 Freeze a stuffed Kong for a tasty brain game.

A few minutes of mental enrichment can help:
💙 Build confidence
💙 Reduce boredom
💙 Ease anxiety
💙 Create a happier, more fulfilled pup

I love it when my clients get new babies… especially the fluffy, whiskered kind! 🥰🐾

Early grooming is so important because it helps kittens become comfortable with being handled, brushed, having their nails trimmed, and eventually being bathed and groomed. Starting young creates positive experiences that reduce stress, prevent painful mats, and make grooming a safe, routine part of their lives. A little confidence now leads to a lifetime of happier grooming appointments. 💕🐾
