Meet Waffles 🧇, our newest Luxe Pup! 🐾

This 3-month-old maltipoo came in for his very first full groom. Everything was new to him, but it turns out he LOVES water, and he was a little angel for his bath 🛁✨

We worked through some puppy matting and tangles nice and gently, then gave him a fluffy 1” all-over trim. Seriously… how could you say no to this face? 🥹🤍

First grooms set the tone for a lifetime of happy spa days. That’s why our salon is appointment-only, with straight-through service and little to no crate time, so your pup isn’t stuck waiting.

3 events, 3 days, 1 very spooky weekend 🎃👻

Let me be honest, you guys: we showed up for three days in a row this Halloween weekend, and it was SO worth it 🖤

🛍️ Friday: Adult Shopping Showcase at El Prado Golf Course
🥊 Saturday: Trunk or Treat put on by Perros Boxing
🦇 Sunday: Halloween Spooktacular put on by the City of Chino

The best part was seeing everyone out with their families and their pups, and all the costumes were incredible. Some of the dogs definitely out-dressed their humans 😂

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to say hi, give us a high five, or book your pup’s next glow-up 💜 It means so much to be part of this community.

Us calling around the whole salon after your pup shows up with a fresh cut that WE didn’t do 😤✂️
All jokes aside, we have so much respect for our fellow groomers 💜 This industry is hard work and we’re all just here for the pups. Grooming community over competition, always!

🧡🕯️ Día de los Mu***os, Pet Edition 🕯️🧡

Today we light a candle and lay down marigolds for the furry family members who left paw prints on our hearts: Tali, London & Brooklyn, and Savannah Banana. 🌼🐾

The marigolds’ bright color and scent are said to guide our loved ones home, and we like to think that includes the ones with wagging tails and soft purrs. 💛

We’d love to honor yours too. Share your pet’s name and a favorite memory in the comments, and let’s fill this post with love for every pet we’ve had to say goodbye to. 🐶🐱

Forever loved. Forever remembered. 🌼

With love,
Luxe Pups 🐾

Meet our mascot, Dash the Goldendoodle 🧡

Dash is one of our most loyal regulars, and he makes sure he gets our attention constantly 😂 Today he came in for our Bath Package:

🛁 Two rounds of shampoo
✨ Conditioner
💨 A full blow-out and brush-through
💅🏼 Nail trim

He went in a curly, soggy mess and came out looking like a fluffy teddy bear. We’re a little biased, but isn’t he so handsome? 😍

Matted doesn’t always mean shaved to the skin! 🐩✨

This sweet poodle mix came in with some serious matting, but with the right products and careful drying techniques, we were able to work through it and save some of that fluff.

Here’s how to keep your doodle or poodle mix tangle-free between grooms:

🪮 Brush at least 3 times a week
📏 Use line brushing: part the coat in small sections and brush all the way down to the skin, layer by layer, not just over the top
🧰 Have the right tools: a slicker brush to work through the coat and a greyhound comb to check your work. If the comb glides through to the skin, you’re good!

Mats close to the skin can be painful for your pup, so regular brushing keeps grooms comfortable and lets us keep more of the coat you love. 🐾
