(TW: help needed) Good morning from Temperance. She is one of Tallulah’s babies born here at the sanctuary. Temperance is also the tiniest of her sibs. She has this lump on her side that needs to get checked out at the vet. What was once thought to be a simple hornet sting is not healing. Can you help cover her vet care today? It would be great to say yes to any needed tests because Temperance has your support.

A Humble Little Farm

The dream had always been to find a little piece of dirt so that we could start to save animals. We wanted to provide a home, a safe place, a love story for all of the little creatures that needed a family, acceptance, nurturing. Our number one rule is that we treat each other like we love each other. Amazingly, every animal that has been saved over the last two years have adopted each other as family. They play, they eat, they drink, they forage, they graze, they rest all together as a loving unit. Every animal has a unique personality and quirks and they all deserved to be treated better than they were in their previous lives. At Cloven Heart, we are all about restoring dignity to their lives, saving them from abuse, neglect, slaughter, and healing their broken bodies and souls. Animals are used. Period. Their bodies and their spirits are wrecked by a civilization that believes they have the right to. Worldwide, there is an epidemic of cruelty towards animals. We hope to change the world. We hope to change a life. By saving these animals, we are showing them that although they were hurt they can heal and be strong again, that although they were used they can find peace and respect, that although they were abandoned they are loved and can trust again, that although they were sad and confused by the cruelty of their previous life, at Cloven Heart they are safe and have a loving home and for the rest of their lives they will know nothing but love, happiness, and family.
