Our first puppy flew the coop this morning!
Blu’s owner Sante made the long drive to Texas. He showed the pups a deer leg and laid some tracks for them. To no one’s surprise, they were all super interested. He decided to take sweet little Purple collar (name pending!) home with him. She bears a very strong likeness to her daddy dog! She is going to have the BEST life.

We hope to me making our final picks soon but these guys are making it difficult with how amazing each pup is.

Got to run a couple dogs in their first tournament a few weeks ago. Won longest cutters with this guy! LJ got cut down but hopefully she will be in the game here soon. Great weekend with good friends and impressive dogs.

Yesterday we attended the TLGDA event in Lampasas with Hoss, Creek, Pepper, and LJ. Dogs got to try barn hunt and lure coursing for the first time as well as participating in other working events. We also did snake aversion training with Hoss- he is now very anti-rattlesnake!

We had some 🔥 born here early Friday morning!

These puppies are out of our Rocking M’s Roux (our favorite girl- working hog dog, NALC pointed, WCA Top Hand, UKC champion, health tested, take her anywhere dog). We made this line breeding with Schmavis’ Sig Sauer Blu, a UBT certified tracking dog with an exceptional temperament. We got to hang out with his guy for a week and he was a perfect gentleman.

We will likely have a few puppies available after we’ve made our picks.

Dogs got on a decent one last night. Hoss and LJ scaled the almost vertical riverbank, crossed the river, and had this hog bayed up for about 40 minutes before we could get to them. Vendetta went in for the catch and it was game over. Really proud of these dogs for holding this hog bayed for so long, it’s not ideal to make your dogs wait on you.

We have a litter due this weekend who will be half siblings to Hoss.
