🌟 Thankful Thursday! 🌟

Today we’re celebrating one of our happiest recent adoptions — Toto, now known as Bo! 🐾💙

Bo’s adopter, Nicky, reached out to share an update, and our hearts just melted:

“I recently adopted Toto whose name is now Bo! I thought I’d share some pictures I’ve taken over the past few days. Bo has been so wonderful — he’s so playful and very loving. I’ve tried to spoil him as much as possible because he’s such an amazing kitty! Thanks for helping me find the perfect cat :D”

Bo is clearly living his best life — full of love, playtime, and the pampering he deserves! 🥰🐱✨

⚠️ Winter Weather Update – Early Closure Today ⚠️

Due to the severe winter weather in the forecast, Eastshore Humane Association will be closing early today to ensure the safety of our staff and volunteers.
Your understanding means the world to us as we work to keep everyone—two-legged and four-legged—safe.

❄️ Winter Pet Safety Tips ❄️
As the storm rolls in, please take a moment to make sure your pets are safe and prepared:

🐾 Limit outdoor time – If it’s too cold for you, it’s too cold for them.
🐾 Watch for cold-weather dangers – Frostbite and hypothermia can happen fast.
🐾 Wipe paws after walks – Salt and ice-melt can irritate paw pads.
🐾 Provide warm shelter – Bring outdoor pets inside or give them a secure, insulated space away from wind and moisture.
🐾 Check water bowls – Make sure water hasn’t frozen.
🐾 Keep pets visible – Snow reduces visibility; reflective gear helps keep pets safe on walks.

Eastshore Humane Association will be closed on Thursday, 11/27/2025 for Thanksgiving.

Armand is spayed, fully vetted, and thriving on her special urinary prescription diet, which helps keep her happy, healthy, and hydrated. She’s been doing amazing on her food and will just need to stay on it long-term to keep feeling her best. 🩺💧
