Such great news!

🎉This month, we adopted out over 105 animals! Prior to this, our record for adoptions in a single month was 84. We are totally blown away and SO thankful to everyone who opened their homes to a new family member this October.🎉

💚And a HUGE shout out to our amazing team of staff and volunteers who put in the time, hard work, and love for our animals every day. These happy endings are only possible because of their dedication and care.💚

🎃🐾 Keep the Frights Fun and Your Pets Safe This Halloween! 👻🐶🐱

Halloween is full of spooky surprises, but some of those tricks and treats can be scary for our furry friends! 🧡

Here are 5 tips to keep your pets safe this Halloween:

🍫 1. Hide the Halloween Candy! Chocolate and candy containing xylitol can be dangerous for pets. Keep those treats away from curious noses and paws!

🚪 2. Watch Those Doors! With trick-or-treaters coming and going, keep your pets safely secured so they don't slip outside.

🧙‍♀️ 3. Choose Comfy Costumes! Make sure costumes don't restrict movement, breathing, or vision. If your pet isn't enjoying dressing up, skip the costume!

🏷️ 4. Check Those ID Tags! Make sure your pet's ID tags and microchip information are up to date, just in case they sneak out.

🐾 5. Watch for Stress! Doorbells, costumes, and unfamiliar visitors can be overwhelming. Give your pets a quiet, cozy place to relax away from the excitement. 💤

❤️ A little preparation can make Halloween safe and fun for everyone!

💬 Does your pet love Halloween festivities, or would they rather hide from all the spooky excitement? Tell us in the comments! 👇🎃
