With wildfire season always on our minds here in Butte County, this is a great opportunity to learn how to keep your pets safe and prepared during emergencies.

A big thank you to (Chico Fire Department) and Butte County Office of Emergency Management for being a part of this exciting event, sharing evacuation tips, preparedness resources, and helpful information for pet owners.

Our hoomans are looking for some additional awesome volunteers to help me with my daily routine—feeding, scooping my litter box, washing dishes, and sweeping up my little messes. Basically, helping me and my friends be the cool cats we were born to be. 😸

They need volunteers for these shifts at the Chico Cat Coalition:

Wednesday mornings: 7–9 a.m.
Thursday mornings: 7–9 a.m.
Wednesday evenings: 5–7 p.m.

The Chico Cat Coalition is looking for more volunteers this year, and we would love to hear from you!

What it en-tails 🐈
- 1 recurring shift every week
- About 2 hours per shift
- Cleaning: scooping, sweeping, mopping, feeding
- Petting and playing with kitties!

You'd be working with 1 or 2 other volunteers on the same shift. Shifts are mornings or evenings, and we are currently really in need of WEDNESDAY morning volunteers!
