📣 January 2026 Update
We’re happy to share that Dr. Hazanow plans to return on Monday, January 12th, part-time with limited appointments.
Dr. Schraeder will continue providing support with additional days through the end of January and will be available for appointments during this time.

Today is Dr. Kathryn Schrader’s first day providing relief care with us!
For the remainder of this week, we will be open with our normal hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with a lunch closure from 12:30 – 2:00 PM.

Tomorrow, we’re excited to welcome Dr. Dane Whitaker for his first day providing relief care with our team.
Dr. Whitaker and Dr. Sandy Hazanow first met over 25 years ago, when Dr. Hazanow was filling in at a Menlo Park practice where Dr. Whitaker worked. Years later, he joined Dr. Hazanow at her San Francisco practice, Seven Hills Veterinary Hospital. Around that same time, they both served on the board of PrideVMC as sequential presidents.

Dr. Whitaker went on to earn an advanced degree in public veterinary medicine from UC Davis. He currently works as a veterinarian at the Marine Mammal Center in the Marin Headlands, while also supporting clinics as a relief veterinarian.

We’re happy to have both Dr. Schrader and Dr. Whitaker with us this week!
