An abundance of unwanted canines are in government-run facilities. Please help us save them. ❤️ 🐶

We aim to work with government-run animal intake facilities to rescue canines from being euthanized. Our part in a successful rescue involves a health check before arriving at our facility, specialized care if needed, temperament testing with other animals, our own technique to destress animals until they are adopted, and assisting other nonprofits to achieve their goals. Our page is used to showcase our rescued canines that are available for adoption. We use fundraising as a way to help offset medical costs and those associated with rescuing animals from animal control and humane societies in 10 states.

Just some education on puppy parasites:

We recommend Petco Vetco Clinics inside Petco for a f***l exam and routine puppy shots! Their vets are amazing!

Puppy parasites fall into two main categories—internal (like roundworms and hookworms, which infect over 90% of young puppies) and external (like fleas and ticks)—and require routine veterinary checkups and deworming.

Common Internal Parasites

• Roundworms: Look like spaghetti in stool or vomit; cause a pot-bellied look, weight loss, and diarrhea. Spread from the mother in utero or through milk.
• Hookworms: Attach to the small intestine and feed on blood, leading to anemia and pale gums. Can infect humans through the skin (causing "creeping eruption").
• Whipworms: Live in the large intestine and cause chronic bloody diarrhea and weight loss.
• Tapeworms: Look like grains of rice near the tail or in stool; usually spread by fleas.
• Single-celled parasites (Giardia and Coccidia): Spread through contaminated water or soil, causing severe, watery, or bloody diarrhea.

Rescue Facts:

Did you know that physical shelters have a limit on how many dogs and cats they can house? They are licensed to hold a certain amount of dogs! What happens to the dogs that are an urgent intake?

Foster homes are important to any licensed rescue shelter or humane society! Foster a dog!
