Well, we didn’t have the state finals we worked so hard for… and that’s okay. I truly could not be more proud of these boys, and I thank God every single day that I get to be their momma. 🤍
Juddy had a phenomenal spring, placing at every rodeo and consistently at the top. He came into state sitting 2nd overall, and after having two calves get up on him, ended up 5th in the year-end standings. But through it all, I couldn’t be more proud of his work ethic, grit, resilience, and especially his attitude. His talent and accomplishments don’t define who he is — he knows God has a bigger plan, and that more doors will open in His timing.
Jayton had such an incredible and consistent year in the breakaway. He was 2nd in the short round and placed in ribbon roping two rounds with Piper. A barrier and a miss set him back a bit, but he still finished 6th in the state in both breakaway and ribbon roping. What stood out most, though, was his joy, his sportsmanship, and how genuinely supportive he was of everyone around him. It truly shined a light on what matters most.
Thank you so much to our incredible tribe for supporting us — not just at state, but all year long. This spring has been hard in a lot of ways, but we continue to trust His plan and know there’s purpose in all of it.
And Colorado… congratulations to such an amazing group of competitors. You all are incredible, and I’ve loved watching these kids compete, grow, and cheer each other on. Thank you to everyone who volunteers so much time and effort to give these kids opportunities like this. We are beyond grateful. 🤍
I had to share some highlights of our spring 💙
