A vote for one of the following candidates in the 2026 Primary election would be an expression of support for WY fresh

US House of Representatives - Chuck Gray personally reached out to us asking how he could help. He did this without us asking. We found him warm and supportive.

Governor - Brent Bien - Brent also reached out and visited the farm without us asking.

Secretary of State - Rachel Williams - Rachel has been involved in our sister Farm's troubles in Cody Hippy Cow Creamery and supports us in our issues with government overreach.

State Senate 5 - Ben Hornuk

State Senate 7 - Anyone but Mark Rinne - Mark is leading the charge in Cheyenne City Council for forced annexation. We suggest writing in the name of the loser in the Republican primary in House 9 either Exie Brown or Boyd Wiggam

State Senate 31 - Daniel Singh - Daniel has attended multiple city council meetings and spoken on our behalf.

House District 8 - Steve Johnson - Steve has been leading the charge in the House Ag committee to amend the Food Freedom Act to fix the troubles we have been having with freedom to sell Wyoming meat.

House District 9 - Both Exie Brown and Boyd Wiggam are supportive of WYfresh. Exie has spoken on our behalf in City Council and is more of a fighter. Boyd is an old friend who is very thoughful. We really want one of these men in Senate 7.

House district 41-Gary Brown - Gary has been supportive in multiple city council meetings

House District 43 - Anne Lucas - Ann has been an opponent of forced annexation since before the WYfresh annexation fight

County Commission -

Linda Heath visited us and expressed her support. This was unasked.
Jason MacGregor is a customer and supporter of food freedom
M Lee Hasenauer is liberty minded
Julie Christen was motivated by WYfresh's issues to run for County Commissioner

County Assessor - Vote against Todd Ernst. He told us vegetables are not crops when we applied for Agricultural status

City Council- Mostly based on answers to our questionairre

Ward 1 - Travis French (He gave good answers Seems to be a fighter. May be rough around the edges but so is the Urban Plowboy)

Ward 3 - Bill Bryant
Ken Esquibel - has voted no on forced annexation and opposes WYfresh annexation if we are not comfortable with it.

WY fresh is consistently asked for advice in how to vote in the upcoming election because of our troubles with the City of Cheyenne and the State Department of AG. We are soliciting information regarding candidates for state office and for City of Cheyenne and Laramie County so that we may evaluate and endorse. If you want to support WY fresh and Food Freedom and liberty in general, choose carefully how you vote. Beginning endorsements coming soon.

Johnson for Wyoming House District 8

Wyoming passed the Food Freedom Act to expand liberty—not create loopholes that prevent local ranchers from selling to willing customers.

Yet today, there is still work to do to make the Food Freedom Act everything it was intended to be.

Wyoming ranchers should be free to sell Wyoming beef directly to willing customers at Wyoming farmers markets. Consumers should be free to decide what food they purchase and who they buy it from.

It's time to Make Wyoming Beef Legal Again and restore the freedom the Food Freedom Act was meant to protect.

Farmers markets should be places where producers and consumers -> not bureaucrats

We had a scare tonight!

Just a friendly reminder, please don’t shoot fireworks off over your neighbor’s dry pasture without permission. It’s not only dangerous but distresses the livestock. We’re not against fun, but at least offer to water the pasture beforehand.

We’re taking the day to celebrate 250 years of freedom and contemplate the sacrifices so many have made for us to enjoy that freedom. My prayer is that we stay vigilant in protecting those inalienable American rights, that are God-given and not doled out by a governing body. Here’s to 250 more prosperous years of freedom!
