“What does ‘Large Animal Services’ mean?” 💁🏻♀️
Are you wondering what we do for large animals here at Chewelah Veterinary Clinic?
Well, the good news is we do a lot!
We see Horses, Pigs, Cattle, Goats, Llamas, and some smaller farm animals as well.
We have three doctors who work with large animals here! Dr.Jessie Welch, Dr. Karissa Harder, and Dr. Emma Impala all see large animal.

We also offer laser therapy for large animal
We are willing to see pretty much any farm animal if we have the ability to provide the best quality care. We will also see some chickens and turkeys, if needed.
We have room for haul-ins for all of the above as well as a barn with fields, corrals, stocks, cattle chute, and pens.
We also have a stocked truck for farm calls, but do require safe handling set ups for both our safety and that of the animals and owners we are working with.
Our goal moving forward will be to change our pricing structure to more of a package to cover more animals in one call.
