🚨 Tomorrow’s the day! 🚨
Our Furever Family Fest kicks off tomorrow, Saturday, August 16th from 11AM–5PM at the Animal Care Shelter for Kent County!

🐾 Adoption Reminder:
To make your day as smooth as possible, get those adoption applications in tonight! Submitting ahead of time could even make you a VIA (Very Important Adopter) and get you in the doors early for first pick.

If you don’t get your app in online tonight, no worries—you can still bring the proper paperwork with you tomorrow. Be sure to have:
✔️ Proof of address
✔️ A valid photo ID
✔️ Landlord approval or pet policy (if you rent)

🎉 Free adoptions, fun for the whole family, and so many animals waiting to meet their people—tomorrow’s going to be BIG. We can’t wait to see you there!

Our Furever Family Fest raffle baskets are here — and they are GOOD. We’re talking prizes worth anywhere from $25 to $100 thanks to our incredible sponsors (seriously, you all are amazing).

You can snag your tickets this Saturday at the event OR stop by the shelter beforehand to get a head start!

Standard Tickets (white) – for $25–$50 baskets
• $2 each | 6 for $10 | 15 for $20

Premium Tickets (gold) – for $75–$100 baskets
• $5 each | 5 for $20 | 12 for $45

**Shake is home ❤️**

MISSING PET: Shake is a tabby cat who was last seen on 08/07/2025 on Beach Road in Rock Hall, MD. He’s an indoor cat, and he’s very skittish. He got out while visiting from out of town, so the area is completely unfamiliar to him.
