Running W Kennel I have been in the pet industry for over 40 years. Working in vet hospitals, kennels and grooming shops in Maryland, Montana, South Dakota and Minnesota.

I provide grooming, daycare and limited boarding.Weekend hours are by appointment. I provide grooming, daycare and limited boarding. I relocated back to my family farm 15 years ago from a 20 yr visit out west. I am one of the 4-H dog club leaders for Kent County and enjoy working with youth. My husband Jim and I raise and sell Highland Cattle. We are regulars at the Chestertown Farmers Market wher

e we sell our beef and farm raised pork. You may also purchase the beef and pork from our on farm store. I'm open Monday thru Friday with weekend hours by appointment. I would love to meet you and your pets.

Good morning I will be closed today. We are hauling Abraham, our bull, to PA to visit some new ladies for a few months. I will reopen Monday 4/27 at 7 am. Have a great weekend. Let's hope it rains!!!

Happy Sunday. For the past few months, I've been spreading the news. As of September 30,2025, I will discontinue my boarding business. Everything is fine it's just time to take something off of my plate. Boarding is 24/7 365 and I'm ready for a real day off. I'll continue grooming and daycare Monday through Friday. I want too sincerely thank everyone who has been so very supportive of my business over the past 20 years. I also want to thank ALL of the wonderful people who have worked with me these 20 years. It would not have been possible without you. And Jim who has been the handyman, Hvac guy, greeter and anything else we need. Lucky him his job has been downsized but not gone!!! I have a list of all the kennels in the area I've worked with for 20 years.

I wanted to congratulate Puppy Pals for our Hurricane Relief effort. We collected over 450 lbs of supplies and food for people who help animals in need.
John Caputo flew food to Washington County for their shelter who took in over 100 animals from the devastated region.
We dropped off the rest at Advanced Auto on Friday.
