Our Cochin pen has been on the struggle bus this year 🫠 I am 90 percent confident that these two lovelies are pullets 🤞 the struggle has been real with low hatch rates, heat stroke, predators, broody hens, and what I am so good at... hatching roos... send positive chicken ju ju vibes that I am right lol and they are hens Also....I may or may not have just loaded the incubator up with more cochin eggs 🤭

Picked these cuties up from the post office yesterday morning. All 8 arrived safe and sound from Ohio! Have I mentioned how awesome or local post office is? They are always super friendly and supportive of my chicken addiction 🤭 Eeeeek I am so excited to have BCM chicks from Crosshatch Farm. Her eggs are absolutely stunning... here's to chasing the happiness of the egg rainbow 😉🌈🥚
