Back in the show ring yesterday after a winter of hard work!

Team Leuci spent the colder months building new partnerships, developing our horses, and stepping up. That patience and perseverance paid off with some awesome results yesterday at CJL Duncraven!

🌟 Morton’s Catalyst and Julia Mandler kicked things off with a win in the 2’3 Hopeful Hunters and a win in the under saddle, earning Reserve Champion in the division 🏆

🌟 Aviation continues to step up, putting in three great trips in the 3’ Suitable Hunters with Sam Leuci, before shining in the 2’6 Low Adult Hunters with Stephanie Grober. The pair secured the win in the Bit O’ Straw Classic and a 2nd in the Low Adult Classic 🥇

🌟 Noreade moved up with Sam Leuci in the 2’9 Suitable Hunters with confidence and ease, and also stepped into the 2’6 Low Adult Hunters with Julia, earning a 2nd in the Bit O’ Straw and 3rd in the Low Adult Classic 🥈

🌟 Paint the Town Red and Stephanie Grober laid down lovely trips in the 2’9 Suitable Hunters, taking home a 2nd in the under saddle✨

🌟 Brielle LaSecla and her LaLuna returned to the show ring and jumped right around the .80 and stepped right into the .90’s to win the class! 🥇

So proud of this team and all the progress made. Thank you to everyone who came out to support and cheer us on—we couldn’t do it without you! 💙

Huge congratulations to Anne Lynch on welcoming Santiago into her family! 🏆

I had the privilege of starting this special horse as a 3-year-old, fresh off the plane, so having him back in our program now feels incredibly full circle. It means a lot to see him land with someone who will appreciate him so much.

A big thank you to Kendra and Macaela for trusting us with him along the way.

Best of luck to Anne and Santiago — we’re so excited to watch what the future holds for this pair! 💙

Another great day to be out horse showing!
The weather held out and gave us a beautiful afternoon at Centenary’s CJL show!

🌟 Stephanie Grober’s Paint the Town Red had another successful debut with his leaser Anne Lynch, laying down some beautiful trips in the 2’3” Hopeful Hunters before shining in the 2’3” Modified Equitation — winning two out of three classes and taking home Champion!

💫 Julia Mandler and her own Noreade continue to grow together, putting in lovely rounds in both the 2’3” Hopefuls and the 2’3” Modified Eq.

So proud of this entire team and the hard work everyone puts in week after week to make days like this possible — especially for a first time out! 🏆💙💪

Another great end to a fabulous weekend! 💫

Before the highlights, we want to commend HITS Festival of the Horse for providing a truly welcoming and high-quality experience. They’ve created an environment that feels both competitive and encouraging, with thoughtfully designed courses and a price point that makes an A-rated show experience more accessible. For green horses, developing riders, or anyone looking for a positive step into the rated circuit, this show is a gem. Our entire team left impressed!

✨ Kate Read & Stephanie Grober’s Paint the Town Red — Won the 2’ Hunter Derby (her first derby ever!), captured 2 of 3 wins in the 2’ Equitation for Champion, and finished Reserve Champion in the 2’3 Special Hunters.

✨ Julia Mandler & Noreade — Moved up in height, winning both over fences and the under saddle for Champion!

✨ Julia & Morton’s Catalyst — 2nd in the 2’ Hunter Derby and capped the weekend with a win in the 2’3 Hunter Under Saddle.

✨ Stephanie Grober’s Aviation — Made his 3’ Derby debut, and took home the win!

What an incredible way to wrap up the weekend. Proud is an understatement — the hard work and dedication from this team continues to shine! Congratulations, everyone 🏆💙

What a huge day for Team Leuci!
Today was full of exciting firsts (and not just for experience!)

✨ Julia Mandler piloted her own Noreade to her first over-fences class—and won! She also took home the win in the under saddle. On Morton’s Catalyst, Julia added a 2nd and 3rd in the Pre Child/Adult Hunters.

✨ Kate Read made her horse show debut aboard Stephanie Grober’s Paint the Town Red and swept the over-fences in the Pre Child/Adult Hunters, added a 3rd in the under saddle, and went on to win the Classic for the division!

✨ Not to be outdone, Stephanie Grober’s Aviation soared to the top of the Low Adult Hunter Classic with back-to-back scores of 80!

What an incredible and successful day for all of our horses and riders. We’re so proud of the hard work behind today’s results and can’t wait to finish strong tomorrow!

Great things really do come in all shapes, sizes, and colors! Rory and Tulip both had a fantastic school at home today, preparing for HITS Festival of the Horse. Rory is making his debut in the 3’ Greens this weekend, and Tulip is working hard to hang right alongside him! 💪

🏆 Congratulations to Stephanie Grober and Paint the Town Red on a fantastic first day at The League National Finals!

This pair started strong in the M&S Classic, scoring an 80 in the first round and returning in 5th place for round two. Though an unlucky rail moved them to 12th overall, what a huge accomplishment for this pair.

Stephanie shared this goal with me at the start of the year, and it has been such a joy watching her hard work and determination pay off. We are so proud of this team and can’t wait to cheer them on tomorrow for Day 2! 💙

Luna is a joy to ride and grow with. She is quiet but has her own motor, hacks out alone or with friends, and is comfortable around dogs, cats, and kids. A Pony Finals quality pony who is equally happy competing on the local circuit, making her a versatile partner for many types of riders.

Affordable half or full lease options available on site at our beautiful private boarding barn in Chester, NJ, where riders can benefit from regular lessons and many opportunities to join us at horse shows this fall.
