First, I want to ask for no judgement here. If you can help with a rescue please let me know. A beautiful young family, who have been our clients, have suffered a tragedy that no young family should endure. While they are putting their pieces back together of their life, they have made the extremely hard choice to call me and ask for my help in rehoming these two very sweet and loving pups. Lemu and Roofus are a bonded pair and both are extremely loving. They are good with adults and children. They are up to date in their shots and have no bite history. Our team absolutely adore these sweet two. A yard would be preferred because of their size and they love to play and lay in the sun. Lemu is a 6 1/2 year old, spayed female Hound/Shepard mix, approximately 75 lbs. Roofus is a Great Dane and approximately 170 lbs. He is not neutered. Reasons to hire Pampered Pet Sitting! We are observant and detail oriented! Meet Jonsey! We have been caring for Jonsey for more than five years. Our team knows him. He’s a very friendly and loving boy! Our Suzanne walked in yesterday for a first visit and right away noticed something off with his front left paw and he was limping. Upon further inspection it appeared that a toe nail had gone into his paw pad. It was swollen and pink. She called us. We called his family and we were asked to take him to urgent care. We asked how he would be allowing us to put him into his carrier and were told he will run and hide if he sees it. I met Suzanne at the home and as I prepared the cat carrier in the bathroom , carrying it down the stairs behind me while Suzanne offered him fresh canned food to his delight to distract him, we set the carrier in the bathroom. Suz picked him up and entered the bathroom and closed the door and was able to put him in the carrier. We brought Jonsey to Acute Pet Urgent Care on Kresson Road. Love this urgent care, always great care here. They removed the nail from his paw pad and cleaned him up and gave us oral antibiotics and some pain meds and a cone of shame and Jonsey is good to go!! He’s not happy with the cone, as you can see but he’s on the mend. Suzanne brought one of her special cat feeders for Jonsey so he can eat with his cone. We will always go above and beyond for our clients!!

This has been a really sad week for our team here at Pampered Pets!! Our beautiful Debbie passed away yesterday💔. Debbie joined our team, our family, a little more than three years ago after retiring as a teacher of special needs children. Debbie is the sweetest, kindest, most genuine and caring friend and I can say she truly loved her time with all of the pets she cared for. All of the pups and cats and birds, she loved them all. She shared with me that she was going through treatments but still wanted to keep her life normal and loved seeing her pets. She set the tone for what she could do and when. I always worried if it was too much and she would let me know if it ever was. I didn’t share her health story with our team because I wanted to respect her privacy. A few months ago she let me know that she was getting too weak to continue and wanted to spend her time with her family. Her sweet husband thought of us during this time to let me know last week that she was entering hospice and he reached out to me yesterday to let me know his beautiful wife and our beautiful and kind friend passed away. Usually when I have news or a message for our large team, I can send a group message through our scheduling software but this news was too sad and important to share in that way and I’ve been calling every one on our team over the last two days to let them know and ask them to pray for Debbie’s husband and son. Debbie did everything right and kind and with integrity and love in this world and I have no doubt our Lord has her wrapped in his loving arms! We loved her and I’m so glad she said Yes when I reached out to her asking if she would like to work with us a few years ago! What a blessing getting to know her has been in my life. Please keep Debbie and her family and loved ones in your prayers!
